Burpies & adcopycreatorpro

Hey I know many of you are pro writers so i don't want to patronize anybody but for those of us who are not like myself these two applications are actually quite useful.

Many people are familiar with burpies but adcopycreatorpro is better in some respects.

Had a peek at scribejuice but I prefer combining these other two. Also I found a PDF flowchart "anatomy of a sales letter" which is a good simple roadmap.

Using these tools just gives a skeleton to work from if you are a new writer.

  • I'm a fairly new sales writer (although not a new writer by any means), and I wouldn't even consider automating any portion of my creative process. If I felt I had to do that, I wouldn't be confident even offering clients my services.

Sorry if this is too blunt, but that's the way I see it.
  • Youd be better off if you just picked up john carltons $300 kick ass copywriting course and did what he told you.
  • But I'm not writing for others I'm doing my own. Time is of most importance for me and as I can afford only the services of the less expensive writers at present my strategy is to use these software applications to build a basic but still acceptable copy and then pay somebody with more experience to improve it.
  • Yea writing for yourself is what I mean.
  • Gareth,

    It's worth a shot.

One thing I'll point out is that most of us don't do re-writes because it's very rare a non-pro can come up with a decent framework.

Most of the time you have to start from scratch anyway.

I'm not saying this to put you off... just saying you may be better off actually studying copywriting books etc and learn how to write a sales letter yourself, because the software tends to churn out crap.

Maybe you'd be better off starting out as an affiliate, making some money, and then paying a pro to do the sales page for your own products.

I say this because learning to write copy is very time-consuming and you said you don't have a lot of time.

    Just food for thought.

    -Dan
