ESPN's South Africa World Cup ads have left me cold so far...

They've gone down the earnest sociological route.

But here's a Nike ad doing the viral rounds that's got some serious boom-boom-pow... and a mighty nice "big idea" behind it.

Bleh... you don't know what appeals to South African people that is all. Some concepts are great and creative but a country like South Africa that has deep traditional roots and lots of South African people love their soccer ads to be a bit normal.

I did watch the ESPN ad and must say it is a bit dry and they could have been more creative... but it sorts brings the message home that the whole world unites under the game etc.

I personally prefer some South African sponsor ads. They are the best!
