Favorite Copywriting Piece

I am creating an elaborate swipe file and thought it would fun to see what everyone's favorite copy is. Do you have something you use or refer others to as the ultimate in copywriting?

You can post a link or copy and paste into the thread.

(While I know it's tempting to post your own copy in here, please make this something that you have not written but admire written by someone else.)

I can't wait to see what everyone says!

    Hi Robyna

An excellent way to expand your swipe file -- just
get other Warriors to post with links to their favorite
    piece of copy!

Are you aware of Michael Senoff's superb (and free) www.hardtofindads.com?

His other excellent site is www.hardtofindseminars.com.
Tons of amazing info here, but it would take YEARS to
    absorb it all.

    Kind regards

    Eldo

Here's one of my favorites ...

"Atlanta Housewife Investigated And Almost Arrested For Losing 73 Pounds"

Kiplinger's Personal Finance - Google Books

    Here's another one:

"The Lazy Man's Way To Riches"

    Popular Science - Google Books

Dang, that's a good one. High-octane right there. Just funny enough to tickle the reader a little bit, but not so blatantly comical as to be off-putting. Intriguing, too - and it subconsciously plants the suggestion of crazy, INSANE results - results so bizarrely powerful that you could even be arrested.

"The Lazy Man's Way To Riches"

I've seen variations of this one everywhere, and for good reason. It appeals to the single #1 fantasy of all "business opportunity" marketing - money without effort, and it sums up an entire fantasy, often nurtured for decades, in a single little sentence. That's condensed power, and many readers are pre-sold right there. All you gotta do is write copy that doesn't lose the sale.

Haha, this is a very funny one. But I bet you a lot of people will notice it.

The ad was written years ago by Bud Weckesser (some have mistakenly credited Gary Halbert).

Speaking of Gary, here's one of his very best ads ...
