I wouldn't touch writing for supplements unless the money was REALLY REALLY good -- and there was a lawyer who checked to make sure it's not skirting any ftc issues.

That's how Frank LOST his first fortune. (not by selling supplements, but by running afoul of the ftc. (Not that there's an assured, guarantee to keep yourself out of trouble -- but playing in areas that the ftc likes to scrutinize is one way of keeping one's fortune intact.)

Now if you are not selling into the US market, and/or you are not in the United States -- maybe it's not too much of a concern.

But there's a reason why copywriters stay away from markets that are specifically regulated (e.g., trading/forex) or which are like burrs under the saddle for regulatory agencies like the ftc.

Obviously -- there ARE copywriters who write for these markets. But they are not for the faint of heart, and should only be tackled with your eyes wide open.

Gary Halbert, Frank Kern, Vince James, Perry Belcher are some of the notables who have either lost money or freedom.

Ignore their lessons at your own peril.
