Copy Critique: Re-Brandable/PLR Membership Script

I've just put up my new product at:

SimpleBillingSystem - White Label Product Delivery & Subscription Billing

I realize that the site layout isn't the usual layout for a sales page so wondering what people's thought's are on that also?

Also any ideas on pricing?

    Your positioning is flawed.

Accepting online payments is easy... without your product.

Anyway, at your price point you need substantially more
developed copy to sell these licenses.

      Thanks for the feedback,

      How would you position it?

Here are the main benefits of the package:

      1. No programming required - programming is expensive - so you get a turnkey solution without the fuss - fully supported for 12 months.

      2. Proven demand - more and more people are selling products/subscriptions and need to deliver products and secure product downloads

      2. Just drive sales < better than affiliate marketing - you keep 100% of the profit.

      3. Comparable membership software products sell for $97/site license - basic package starts from ($497 WSO Price) so you can get a return quickly.

      4. Optional $47/mo customer support - we'll handle the customer support so you can literally get the best of both worlds - being an affiliate and product owner

      5. Build a valuable resource (sell your site later and make a profit)

Would anyone be willing to write a hard hitting WSO for me??? PM me your rates!

    Doop,

Copy on your page is pretty basic... sorry, it sucks big time!

I sent you another message on here... you can get back to me and we can talk.

People aren't in the need of membership software, but they are in the need of?

    Thanks,

    David Cavanagh

PS... Remember... So what? What's in it for me? Why is yours better? How many other sites can you show me that are making money after implementing your script? Is it fast to set up? How easy is it to you? Is there a learning curve? Where are your testimonials? etc etc etc

Sorry to say this, but your offer might be compared to selling shovels after the backhoe, tractor, trencher, and ditchwitch have been invented. Why would someone pay for a billing system when there are dozens if not hundreds of them out there that are free?

If your system is exclusive or offers something special (and it should at that price) you need to shout it from the mountain tops. I truly doubt there's much of a market for this. Good luck.

    Who is your customer?

    A) Marketer who wants rights to sell software to marketers

    B) Marketer who wants to sell products/services to public

What makes this different / better than:

    A) Rapid Action Profits

    B) DLGuard

    C) Wishlist Member

    D) Any of the other various payment/delivery scripts?

How do you justify your pricing logically?

    A) Exclusivity of white label protects buyers

    B) It does more/better than _____.

    C) ___________________________

      To this:

Anyone who wants to sells a digital product or service online NEEDS a way to manage users, take payments, track re-bills, deliver products and do customer support.
prospects who are the least bit Internet-savvy will reply, "Err... yeh... PayPal. Got it. Why would I need this?"

      And this:

Best of all - we're capping the number of licenses to JUST 25! This is to ensure you have limited competition to ensure the long term success of your new business by ensuring the future value of this powerful software.
is frankly unbelievable. There's absolutely no justifiable rationale (presented) for limiting the number of licenses sold.

Step away from the copy, and back up a bit...

Where is your market for this product? How do you KNOW there is a market for this product? Why do they 'desperately' NEED this product? What makes YOUR product The Big Answer to Their Problem?

Figure these things out before you touch your keyboard again.

Internet Marketing is still 'marketing'. Start with the market, not the product.

Thanks for all the valuable feedback!!!

I think I've totally misrepresented the product that I'm selling here!!!

Basically the software is akin to "Amember" or "DLGuard" in that that lets you secure downloads, create membership sites with protected pages etc.... It's not the accepting payments - but more delivering the goods via a webpage.

Our USP is that rather than US us selling the actually script ie to a customer wanting to setup a membership site - we are selling licenses so that other people can start selling a "membership script" - we limit the licenses to 25 so that it doesn't become like regular PLR which flood the market and becomes really cheap/devalued.

I'm getting the feeling that we've missed the mark here or that we've totally missed the mark explaining it!

Thanks everyone for giving me some "Altitude" - once the product is 100% completed we'll have a live copy running so maybe people in here could help me position it better.

        Thanks everyone.
