10 page sales letter and brochure - HELP

Friends of the Warrior forum - I have a 10 page sales letter with a brochure, reply card and return envelope - I need an experienced printer in Texas. I'm near San Antonio. Can anyone recommend an experienced printer? I have called around and everyone says "O YES WE CAN DO THAT" but as I begin to listen to them I realize that they cant do it. PLEASE HELP! :-)

Many known gurus, who have done offline direct mail, recommend City Blue Print (cityblue dot com). They do everything in-house, from printing to bindery to mailing the pieces for you.

Your problem is that it's a 10 page letter. You have to think in signatures of 4 pages (11x17 sheet printed two sides). Right now, the way your letter is setup pages 5 and 6 will be a loose 8.5" x 11" sheet in the middle of your letter. It could very well fall out once the person turns page 3.

I would think (seriously) about expanding the letter to 12 pages. You can do this by making the margins on pages wider (if they're not too wide now). If this doesn't do it, then you can add a little more leading in your copy.

You can go the other way too by reducing the sales letter to 8 pages... if your margins are really wide now. And then tighten up the leading a bit on the copy.

        Mr. Subtle....

I cant tell you enough how much i appreciate the city blue.com tip. I had quotes from printers in Idaho, Texas and other printers who's names I cant mention, and when I got the quote from city print I could not believe how much less the quote was. In fact I was skeptical at how low it was. I of course did a 5,000 piece test with them and the service and professionalism was incredible.

I will never use anyone else for my direct mail printing needs. They even hooked me up with Julie Stull for mailservice and she and her people are equally refreshing to deal with. So thanks for the tip I think it was the best tip I ever got in this forum and I have had some great ones!

To be specific they did 5,000 pieces for me 12 pages 7x10 brochure, reply card, envelope, return envelope and the printing was $1,986 !!!

The quality is superb, the reply card is thick stock the brochure is beautiful and the headline in the 12 page letter even has color.

        great people great company.

        Thanks again.
