Best Testimonials Page I've Seen

I don't know if this website is the best use of testimonials but is has to be darn close.

sportsbettingchampDOTcom

*I am in no way associated with this site and I don't suggest that you purchase or use the betting system they sell. Billion dollar casinos are built on the backs of people who think they can beat the system. However, his testimonials almost had me in a death grip to purchase.

All of his testimonials are:

1. Handwritten with each individuals personalized envelope shown
2. All of the individuals have some sort of credible position, job title, or accomplishment (Also they are not just other internet marketers patting each other on the back as we often see.)
3. Each of these individuals is putting their credibility on the line by endorsing this product. There is no Joe Smith, Ohio. You could look up and find each of these people.
3. They all include personal pictures of the individuals

Do you know of a site that does a better job than this with testimonials?

It is done very well. I might have used more handwritten copy-doodles to circle some of the best "pull quotes" in the letters, but that's being picky.

I tell clients to become obsessive collectors of proof. This guy understands its value and has done a great job incorporating it into his page. Just going those extra couple steps makes a huge difference in meeting the credibility threshold.

    Thanks for sharing!

Man, the formatting on that page is so confusing though I don't know where to look. Guy could use a better designer IMO.

It's hard to beat that site for testimonials.

Saw it a while back and thought it would be the old testimonials, but he's updated them with ones from 2010 - seriously impressive.

Especially the one from the old online casino owner.

He either has good contacts or the system works.... go figure...

Seriously impressive. Impressive enough to at least force me to do a quick Google search before pulling out the MC to see if there are any disappointed customers out there.

      My MC is staying put...

But a very impressive list of testimonials.

So...link out to it - SportsInsights Exposes The Sports Betting Champ
What You Can Expect by Following The Sports Betting Champ
In reality, there are only three outcomes you can expect by using this system: wager a lot to win a little, wager a lot to lose a little, or wager a lot to lose everything. The main factor in determining which outcome will apply to you is your bankroll and your luck. If your bankroll is large enough to make continuous large bets (1000 times the size of your unit bet), than you will probably win a little in the long term. However, if your bankroll is that large, you are probably wise enough to realize this system is a scam and not worth your time.
If your bankroll is medium to small then you will almost certainly not end up a winner. You will most likely lose either a little or lose everything, all depending on how lucky you are. If you hit a losing streak early on, you will be broke. If you hit a losing streak in the middle, you will be a loser and probably broke. If you are lucky enough to avoid a losing streak for some time, then you may win a little. To keep your winnings, you must walk away and never wager again because every time you start this system over, you increase your probability of ending up broke.
If you believe you're lucky enough to win in this system, then don't waste your time on the Sports Betting Champ - go to Vegas, find a roulette table, and put your life savings on "black". Or maybe you should try "green".

Here's another salespage that has very compelling social proof:
=> The Best Spinner - the most powerful article spinner software.

Many of them give very specific results.
You see their photos, their websites and their names.

But the thing that did it for me was the sheer
amount of testimonials given. The sheer volume!

It's extremely compelling and credible especially
    to a targeted prospect.

Jonathan Ledger did a very good job in
    getting testimonials for his products.

There is a $5 trial for those of you still ready to buy after all the credibility on the sports betting page.

The testimonials are great but wouldn't the shear number of testimonials on the sales page kind of work against the sale? I could be wrong.

Even though the page looks a bit crowded and with a lot of visual elements, the idea is amazing, really creative. I'm sure there are other sites out there with other creative ways to display testimonials

I find that Joe Polish has a very compelling sales page as well...

=> Small Business Marketing | Business Strategy Expert | Joe Polish

All video testimonials...from the small "average joe"
to the industry experts (e.g. Alex Mandossian).

Scroll down and you will see the testimonial
givers holding placards with their hand-written
messages about with their results - with specific
    figures and all.

    I thought that's brilliant.

One of the best display of social proof I've seen!

This is interesting, but I wonder how well it converts. It is a bit over the top. While I like the credibility the testimonial lends with the paper note and FedEx box, etc., the other images (like the car) seem outlandish. I wonder how well this thing converts.

A handwritten note from a satisfied customer; along with the envelope, postmark et al, sure is a fab means to build credibility.

Only one niggling doubt, are they actually for real? I mean, such LONG complimentary letters make me wonder how much time this guy's customers have on hand!

BTW, since we're sharing notes on great testimonial sites, do check this one out - Google for "david's cosmic jewellery blog testimonials" and click on the first result that you see.

It's a jewellery designer's website where he's got pictures of his customers wearing handcrafted jewellery he's custom-designed, along with thank you notes from them.

The one that I found most touching was the very first one with the handpainted horses...He describes a gift from a client to his daughter and has posted pictures of the beautiful gift as well as the accompanying handwritten letter from his client.

      Good stuff indeed!

      Cheers!

Thank you Bruce. This was extremely helpful.

The thing that gives this page integrity?

The gentleman uses his real name. So many people are looking to disparage online because of a dispute do not. And I do not give their their words credence whatsoever. They hide behind a curtain.

This gentleman does not. And while this gentleman has his own dispute to settle, I can appreciate his intent to warn.
