Which Do You Prefer, and Why - WF or COPYWRITING BOARD?

Hi fellow copywriters

WF copywriting section or the Copywriting Board?

Where do you prefer to spend most of your (spare)
time, and why?

    Both forums are worth spending time at. The Copywriting Board isn't as active, and there is a software glitch which makes typing sort of hard...copy and paste works better. I think you'll find a large crossover at both forums and at other copywriting hangouts too.

    I think you'll find the WF to be a little "faster" with answers and responses, however, Mr. Subtle has a little more work on Copywriting Board, so that alone makes it worth keeping an eye on.

      I'd be interested in knowing how the software glitch shows up on your computer. I wasn't aware one had even existed.

      You guys might be interested in knowing that the board will be undergoing some major changes in the coming months. Keep an eye on it, as I'm working to provide members with some very cool new features and a whole lot of valuable content.

      I'd be very interested in hearing some feedback also with regards to what you'd like to see more of (or less of).

        What happens is, after some "furious" typing, the text gets "thrown" to the bottom of form and you can't see what you are typing. Which is OK, but since I make so many mistakes, I like to see what I'm typing as I type it.

        Again, not just on one computer. 2 notebooks, net book and 2 desktops. Same problem. Different IP's too.

        Maybe it doesn't bother other people, I don't know. But it annoys the hell out of me.

          That would bother the hell out of me... but I never experienced it. The CW board works fine for me.

          I've actually been experiencing a problem with the WF. The "Mark Threads read" button is giving me errors. I filled out a trouble ticket once and they said it's a temporary software glitch. That was nearly 2 months ago.

            I have been having this problem too. Since I reported it I have changed computers and still get the problem.

            The helpdesk have told me that they can't recreate the problem, and no-one else is having it - so it must be at my end.

            But as it would appear that I am not alone I have submitted another ticket to the help desk. I would be grateful if other people experiencing this problem would do so as well - maybe then it will get fixed.

              I love the Copywriting Board. Other than the glitch that a few of your are experiencing, are there any other reasons why it's slowing down as of late?

              The people that moved from Michel Fortin's Copywriters Board to the Copywriters Board are so talented and such giving people. I'm sorry that more of them aren't here at WF more often. And of course, Subtle is marvelous. He's not just entertaining. I've learned a lot from him, too.

            I'm wondering which browser you guys are using, and what extensions/add-ons might be installed. If you guys get the chance, send me a pm over on the CWB so I can figure this out.

            Rezbi, the best way to help is to participate regularly and positively. I want to cultivate a positive and above all realistic atmosphere for everyone to participate in. It's a difficult line to walk, but I believe I've got a great group of mods and some very sharp members to help me out. I think we'll be able to do exactly that.

            To anyone reading this, I extend an open invitation to join the Copywriting Board. Many of the members are the same ones that participated (and moderated) on Michel Fortin's board, and quite a few of them are active participants here as well.

            I'm especially interested in getting some more "WHOA-MEN"* on the board.
            *Credit for that term goes to the powerful marketing women who taught me how little I knew about advertising for women. You ladies know who you are =)
