Rick Duris, I'm Calling You Out...

Rick,

I'm getting tired of you.

The first time I showed you some of my copy you gave me over a dozen ideas to improve it...

Last night, on one of my own projects, you gave me the hook I'd been trying to find for about 5 days...

To your credit, you admitted I have talent.

But seriously dude, you're making me look bad...

This is of course all in good fun. If you guys get the chance to talk to Rick pounce on it. The man takes copywriting to levels that most people don't even know exist...

I truly am lucky to know Rick. He's VERY giving of his time, and he makes you think about things in a whole new light.

So Rick, thank you sir... Your mentors are my heroes, and both times I've talked with you it's been an eye-opening experience. Thanks for the inspiration.

You've helped me in ways I probably won't realize for years to come. But you have a knack for telling it how it is.

I very much appreciate your generosity and your knowledge. Can't wait to speak again soon.

Thanks,

-Scott

Thank you. Your words touch me.

Specifically, I am reminded of an ad Jay Abraham used to run.

It was written by Robert Ringer. The man who authored the entrepreneurial classic "Winning Through Intimidation."

The headline of the ad was "Why I Hate Jay Abraham."
It's funny as hell and true.

    Thanks again!
