Tie-Downs are one of the oldest sales techniques out there. Here is a list of some common ones.

Aren't they?
Aren't you?
Can't you?
Couldn't it?
Doesn't it?
Don't you agree?
Don't we?
Shouldn't it?
Wouldn't it?
Haven't they?
Hasn't he?
Hasn't she?
Isn't it?
Isn't that right?
Didn't it?
Wasn't it?
Won't they?
Won't you?

Tie-downs can be used in the beginning, middle, or end of a sentence. They are used to get the client saying yes mentally. Always use a statement that 99% of you prospects would say yes to (unless you use it as a curiosity statement like I did with the title of this thread)

Wouldn't owning your own home outright give you a sense of peace and security?

Aren't your tired of living pay check to pay check?

An extra $100 a day would be great wouldn't it?

You'd quit your job if you could earn more from home right?

Top sales reps have been using this technique for decades. As you know copywriting is just salesmanship in print. Tie-downs get the prospect saying yes and isn't that what you're after?
