    Hi Jimmy,

An average copywriter will get you average results.

A top copywriter will get you results beyond average.

A top copywriter will go way beyond writing words. He or she will want to know about the people who are most suited to what you have to offer. If what you have to offer is seen as inferior or no different to what's on the market, he will expect you to improve it, if he is to write for you.

Reason being, he doesn't want to ruin his reputation on a product that has little chance of making sales.

Also, I will be surprised if professional copywriters will give out prices here for themselves or others.

I know this isn't the answer your are probably looking for...however not all questions that are asked get answered...to get better answers look at asking better questions.

    All the best,
    Ewen

Whatever market, and whatever structure you're looking at, the average price of "sales copy" is a small fraction of the average price of "successful sales copy".

But even that comparison dwarfs into insignificance the difference between their value.
          very true...

unfortunately, under priced products and services are everywhere and so many people expect a low price...

with copywriting don't ever go 'cheapest' ...especially if you are planning to get a lot of traffic & or affiliates to promote your product

...I've promoted (marketing friends) products that converted poorly before and when I looked at the sales pages I could see why the product didn't convert well, it makes it harder as an affiliate to promote their next product.

Copywriters have innate talents. These are skills that can't be learned over night. It takes alot of experience, practice and study to be called a great copywriter.

If you are concern on how your market would be go for the top copywriters who are proven . You will learn from them and grow with them.

In any business there is a capital needed and the risk to take. Result of the risk depends on how you deal with the decisions you are making...

Jborowy, you probably won't find a good copywriter to work for some money now plus a profit share unless you have a serious track record of successful sales. And even then, copywriters prefer to work for upfront money until we get to know you and see that you successfully market your products.

It's very risky to work on commission for someone we don't know because most marketers simply don't take the next step and actually launch their products.

Can't believe people are seriously holding forth about copywriting in this thread.

Anyone look at the sites? Apparently not - or they would see the writing on the wall...in any language.

If I can pay by installments for 3 months, I would love to spend $1000 for copy writing.

It's always hard to understand if a copywriter is good or not if you don't speak the language well. You might have to take them at their word but I would recommend that you try to get someone whose native language is English to read over that writer's work to gauge its quality.
