Would like a Copywriters Help?

Hello everyone.

I've posted several times in this section of the forum the past couple of days, talking obviously about sales page and well as some of you will know I am getting ready to launch Sticky PLR and I am in need of some help from one of you experienced copywriters.

Now I will be honest, I haven't got a large amount of working capital however I would like to try and see what sort of offers I can get.

Firstly though, let me explain the site, since that's going to be the most important point for you.

Sticky PLR - Quality PLR at Affordable Prices

This is a membership website which will be leveled in 4 stages however on launch there will be one stage open which offers a PLR minisite package. On launch I will provide each member a health related PLR minisite each month on a different health niche.

It is difficult to give you all the details needed to make a clear decision as to whether this may interest you or not since I do not want to give my competition all my information regarding the website and my plans.

However, be sure that Sticky PLR has been created to provide ONLY quality, unique PLR and that I will be focusing on ensuring that EACH member is a happy customer. As soon as they are a member I will be focusing purely on ensuring that each member has enough resources to take action and profit.

I believe that the key to creating a successful membership website in this niche is to provide quality content whilst ensuring members know how to take action and do take action to ensure maximum success is gained.

I am also going to be providing some very unique guarantees to maximize customer satisfaction and keep retention rates high.

Now what have I got to offer:

Well as I mentioned before working capital is very low, however I am open to negotiations in all aspects.

However ones I have considered are commission basis, trade of skills or if you live in the UK then perhaps I can come and clean your car or take your dog for a walk?

I mention trade of skills, well I am an experienced SEO and I would be willing to help any copywriter boost their rankings in Google.

I realise anyone can say they are an experienced SEO however I do have proof. I have been in the top ten for several SEO related keywords and much more including:

SEO Tutorials
SEO Tutorial
SEO Tips
SEO Blog
SEO Elite
Migraine Relief
Headache Relief
Article Marketing Sites
and much more...the main site I ranked for these keywords was SEO Blog | SEO Tips | SEO Tutorials (obviously not the migraine related keywords).

However please note I speak in past tense, I believe most of these rankings now are in the top 3 pages.

If anyone was to help me I would like to take an hands on approach too and would provide as much help as possible. I currently have a 4 page word document of benefits, features, USPs and so on for the sales page as I was planning to write it myself.

You see, the problem I am having is actually starting the sales page and creating it. I have a lot of the key information just not sure how to get started.

Anyways, I will cut it short here since its UBER long already.

Thank you for anyone who actually finishes reading this and for those who reply with interest.

Regards,
Will.

    Willy,

I love how you're offering to clean houses and walk dogs - seriously. That shows character and a willingness to work hard.

Now... PLR is a hard sell. It devalues quick. You're competing with guys like nichemania (or whatever the Frank Kern/Ed Dale thing was - if it's still around).

So my first bit of advice is pick something else unless you have an idea so revolutionary, and game changing, that it'll turn the IM market on its head.

Not just different... not just cool.. un-freaking-believably amazingly awesome (you can tell I write for a living, can't ya?).

There are easier ways to make money... and although it's hard to walk away from something you've invested time and effort into... it honestly is IMHO the best option.

If you're dead-set against walking away... then my opinion is to buy a few copywriting books and learn a bit more yourself.

Because IMHO no copywriter will take on such a difficult (and unlikely to succeed) project for spec or trade.

    Could be wrong though.

    Thanks Daniel for your post.

Although upon first read it upset me to read, I am not one to take criticism and experienced advice negatively.

I knew PLR was a tough market as soon as I decided to enter, however I was so fed up with so much low quality PLR being available and with the general aura on PLR being that it is low quality, generic crap that I decided it was time to change peoples opinions (obviously this isn't everyone's opinion).

I also believe PLR has a great opportunity for beginners and experienced Internet marketers and I want to help other people make money whilst I can comfortably give them my own time since I know I am already earning a stable income from the site.

I have been analysing PLR sales pages, PLR membership sites, PLR package websites and much more to ensure that when I do launch I am offering something quality, something unique and adding a USP too, I believe I have achieved this now.

So all I need now is someone to write about this and create me a sales page. I would like to prove you wrong, so I shall try my hardest

Again, thank you for your reply much appreciated.

I've got a bit of experience with this niche. First, your site doesn't look or feel like a PLR membership site. Most of them are mini sites loaded with product images. And... they're full of hypey copy. This is one market where I think most people expect some hype.

In contrast, your layout is almost sterile. It's boring. People looking for PLR stuff want to see what you have right away. You show that with lots of wild, colorful product graphics and descriptions. And lots of free stuff. The free stuff doesn't have to be brand new. There are plenty of dated yet popular PLR products to use as bait. Of course, you give this stuff away to build your list.

You might want to create a tiered offer, one where the entry level is free. Your visitors get the free membership and a few nice freebies. The rest of the game is upselling. This ain't rocket science as most successful PLR memberships use this model.

The biggest issue I've found with PLR is maintenance. It's very work-intensive. Offering PLR requires that you maintain an excellent inventory and that you have excellent descriptions and illustrations of all your products. This means you need to have a Webmaster who is willing to work. Or you've gotta do it. Either way, it's very time consuming.

I noticed that the last time you posted for a critique your monthly membership fee was around $67. That's pretty steep. Most PLR membership sites are only a fraction of that. If you know where to shop $67 will buy enough quality material to start a decent membership site. I'm not joking. My point? Rethink your pricing.

I'm not trying to discourage you. This is a doable business. I just think you need to get more in line with what works and model that. Good luck.

    Thanks Travlinguy.

Since the last time I posted about the membership site I have re-thought my pricing and I will be making a 5 tier membership site.

The first tier will be a free membership option where I will give the members access to PLR products, articles, videos and more. Obviously these won't be what I have created myself, but instead what I have collected, sort through, used before and what I feel is useful for others/valuable for others to use.

I realise my site doesn't currently look like a membership website, this is being adjusted at the moment to show the graphics for the membership options and such so that people know straight away that it is a PLR membership website.

I will be promoting the free membership level to ensure I can then continue to build a list and a relationship with my members and from their I can sell them on to the paid membership.

I understand that I need a certain level of hype and "in your face" graphics, however I wanted to steer slightly away from those "bs" type sales pages and instead create a two-tier sales page with less hype and more honesty.

The hype that I will be adding will come from proven results and a journal I am creating to show that they can make money with Sticky PLR.

I am interested to hear whether you think that would work?

    Thanks again.

I understand what you're trying to do. Still, you're essentially talking about a conservative approach to a wild and crazy niche. It would almost be like trying to offer a reality TV show about an average Midwestern Baptist family in the states. I think it would be safe to say that no one would care.

That's not to say that you can't incorporate plenty of value and honesty into your business. It's just that people in this market expect certain things. Everyone selling online promises honesty and value but many fail to deliver. The trick is to offer those things and follow through.

Maybe hype isn't the right word to describe the approach to this niche. Maybe it's more like vigorous enthusiasm. Face it, many of the products you'll offer have sales copy that's written with a lot of energy, heavy promises, and lots of passion. People expect it. So the formatting and the copy surrounding those offers needs to be similar.

I don't know where your focus will be but PLR covers a lot of territory. I think it would be wise to pick one or two niches to start and once you've fleshed those out and built some momentum you can branch out. Warrior Forum is a great place to start but with all the PLR competition here you're going to have to give a lot of value for small money at least in the beginning.

Very good example, I totally understand what you are saying. I much prefer "vigorous enthusiasm" instead of hype I think it explains the PLR market much better and in this case I will obviously have to add some enthusiasm to help sell the PLR. I will ensure that I follow through otherwise I am no different to many of the other PLR websites and MMO websites as a matter of fact.

I am going to be focusing on one specific niche first for the PLR product creation and then from there I will extend to two niches and so on so fourth. I have also decided to create a reputation on WF for selling high quality PLR so I shall be branding the site through WF too, although I will have to offer a lot of high quality PLR for a low price I think the non-monetary benefits are worth it.

    Thanks again, for your reply.
