Hey guys,

Is there a "sweet spot" for email subject lengths? What's the number of characters (including spaces) that get the best open rates? Thanks.

Lawrence Bernstein has a whole book full of them. It costs $97.

On my email program, I see about 45 characters. I tend to stick to around that.

I just realised I answered the wrong question.

My subject lines tend to vary. It all depends on what it says.

But I find the shorter ones which say more get opened more.

Alex Mandossian told me to stick to around 25 characters if you can swing it.
