Need Help with Name of Service

Hello all,

I am in the process of launching an online lead generation service to my offline clients. I will basically be using Facebook and other social media sites to generate leads for the clients, totally hands free. It would be a no risk, completely "pay-for-performance" lead gen system. Anyways, I am struggling on names... can anyone help me out?

The name of the company will be SniperLeads..

Here's what I have come up with... (please help me out with ideas - I would love to find something with the "sniper" theme).

"Sniper Local Lead Service

"Bulls-eye Local Lead Service"

"Performance Based Local Lead System"

"Ultimate Local Lead Toolkit"

"All-in-one Performance Based Lead System"

"Hands-Free Local Lead Service"

Anyways, I am not good with names of services... Would love any feedback. Thanks so much in advance!

  • Your first name is good
also, maybe consider "Sniper Leads & Local Search Marketing

Search marketing is a hot buzz word these days. Good luck.

    • Why is everything a "sniper" or "assassin", "samurai", "ninja", "kaboom" or "killer" nowadays?

Why not call it "Low-stress Local Lead Love Machine"
      or "Livin' Large Local Leads"
      or "Local Head-shot Boom-stick Leads?"

      Seriously, though, how about

      "Lightning Local Leads" or

"Ghost Warrior: Local Lead Sneak Attack"

  • Here's a good way to brainstorm:

Make a list of the words and phrases that describe the benefit (or benefits) of targeted lead generation. For example, "more sales" might be one.

Once you have your list, go through it and pick out the word or phrase most likely to trigger an emotional response in your prospect.

Coming up with a name for your service should be easy at that point.

    Alex
  • Good suggestion Alex you can also check the list against the google keywords tool to help you see what phrases are being searched.

    Cheers
  • Thanks everyone for the suggestion so far. Honestly we are naming the company SniperLeads.com because 1) the name was available and 2) since our main focus is offline clients, we need something easy to remember. This name is easy to remember.

On a side note, the reason we are "sniper" leads instead of "shot gun" leads, per se, is because our leads are super targeted (like a sniper). We're targeting a market with a rifle approach, not a shot-gun approach. Make sense?
  • I think I've boiled it down to these 3 names:

    Lightning Local Lead Service

    Sniper Local Lead Machine

    Hands-Free Local Lead Machine

    Any feedback?

    • Steve,

Since your clients like "sniper", they are wanting "leads" and
      from their local area..

      ...then
      -----------------
      Local Lead Sniper
      -----------------

      Three words conveys the message.

      All the best,
      Ewen

  • I think the name "SniperLeadBoost" will do the trick!

    • You are making a mistake with SniperLeads.com.

Just because "the name is available" is just the silliest reason I have heard to name your company.

Get in the head of your potential Client.

      "Sniper?"

      Please. Reconsider.

A chiropractor who wants leads for his business is going to sign-up for sniperleads.com?

      NOT A CHANCE.

A doctor? A dentist? A message therapist? The local Montessori school? The auto repair shop down the street?

      You are making a mistake.

That's not how they think. Get into the conversation that's already going on inside the minds of your potential Client.

  • This is pretty funny considering I already have a Lawyer, a Dentist, A financial advisor, and a snow plow company all on board and they all love the SniperLeads name, because it describes the concept perfectly.

I'm selling myself here, not the company name - which I have successfully done both with offline marketing tactics and have 4 clients already.

I always welcome constructive criticism.. But honestly I don't need the name bashed as it's already proven to be liked and successful by current clients. I don't care how it sounds, as long as it sells. Which it does.
  • Then go for it. I have no horse in this race. Just trying to help.

  • I have to agree with Michael - there's a lot of hyped terms out there when it comes to business products and services. But we're familiar with this in the online world. To an offline audience, this kind of naming can really make you stand out. If you're pretty tied to the term sniper, how about Local Lead Sniper? P.S. localleadsniper.com is available!

  • Sniper Scope: Focused Local Leads

    or

    Sniper Scope: Targeted Local Leads

    • I agree with the others that sniper is online lingo slang and perhaps not something that offline clients will be attracted to, nor does it verbally relate what you do. I always find clear and direct service / company names refreshing.. TIle Roofing Experts, Exclusinve Dog Trimming, Brake & Clutch Service,

Why not make it easy for yourself an use the good old term "online" in your service name?

Online Lead Machine .. Automatic Online Leads, Online Lead Generator, or whatever.

Offline media is still running lots of articles and news about "social media", so that would probably be another easy term to use, minimizing your sale requirements.

With the current choice, I guess you will always be having to explain the "sniper" part..
