They both imply work, in a lecture format. So there is no difference - both should lower your response equally.

    Try "system."

It helps if you then actually have a system.

      Hi julesw,

You are very wise to consider if those words are best, because - as John_S rightly says - the ones you cited both imply hard work.

      Try 'program'.

      Warmest regards,

If you want to stack the copywriting deck in your favor with tricks and hacks producing winners like: "$20K in three days" "650 sold" "30% conversion", then you might like to know I'm retiring and will spill the beans to two people. More info here.

Use words like "hand holding" and "Step by Step". If it really does sound like hard work, you could test by actually saying there is no shortcut, or "magic pill", and use it as a selling point. You have to be very careful how you phrase it, though.

On a letter I wrote for facebook marketing, conversions jumped almost 1% when we mentioned that there was in fact work involved - but it was easy to follow the system in the way I described earlier (by making it seem easy to do).

Just some food for thought. People in the IM nich'e are so used to seeing "sit on your ass, make money" offers that telling them a little work was involved actually worked better. LOL.

    hi thanks all much appreciated

    I don't have a 'system' as such..

It's about great ideas, shooting great footage with low cost kit & lighting, learning to actually direct videos (music, edit, pace etc) rather than an animoto type auto solution.

Of course it can be streamlined to make it not feel too hard but of course it's about filming people (you most likely) so some work is involved.

If required combine can be combined with camtasia/screenflow knowledge and add 30 secs of outsourced CGI and then you get something that special that doesn't cost much at all.

As to the names progam, step by step etc, all good tips will use those in the pitch for sure

    thanks

    My GOD!!!!

Use ADWORDS for crying out loud. Let your market decide.

One ad will say "Video Training" and the other ad will say "Video Course"... which ever one gets the most clicks win.

    Got it? Get it?... Good.

That doesn't necessarily dictate how well the word will work in the copy though. Clicking on a ad and buying something are two completely different things. Just cause something works in one doesnt mean it will work on the other.

But it could be a starting point and very well may transfer over to the copy, but I wouldnt rely on it to decide for me..

To the OP, As others said I think "system" or "formula" are both good choices. Also another common one could be "guide", it implies you are being led through.
