Where can I go to get someone to design a sales page?

I am selling an ebook and currently the banner that I'm selling it from just goes directly to ejunkie and apparently the banner isn't enough to sell the ebook. I'm terrible at marketing...I'm a great designer, but terrible at marketing.....is there someone I can hire to create a sales page for me? How much does it cost?

    Expect to pay at least $2 000 for a good copywriter.

    Some of us are a fair bit more... but IMHO $2k should get you someone competent.

    I'm sure a lot of cheap copywriters will chime in saying good copy doesn't cost that much... but if I knew any good copywriters for under $1 000 I'd be sending them more leads than they knew what to do with.

      I've met a couple up and coming copywriters that will work for around $1,000 but have never met an established and competent one that would dip anywhere near that low.

      I would agree that $2,000 is becoming a reasonable amount for a good copywriter. You might even get lucky and find a real star in the making.

        If you are going to sell online I suggest you learn how to write copy yourself. At least learn enough to sell your products. And after you make some bread them you can hire a Copywriter. If you want a copy of e-book on CopyWriting just drop me a PM.

          $2,000 is about right for a "good" copywriter. Anything lower, and you'll likely get bad copy, or be expected to pay out very generous royalties, exceeding 25% profits.

          Some will work for just royalties. But, the copywriter who does that will either be very stupid, or very critical. The stupid one won't look at what your budget is currently, or what kind of traffic and conversions you're already enjoying.

          The very critical one will. He is like an investor - he needs to make sure every other component is right before he is willing to go without upfront pay and expect his profits on royalty payments.

          In your case, since you're not good at marketing... you need a marketing consultant before a copywriter.

    Well it's the answer to a lot of other things, like smoking a lot of pot and getting paid to be creative, ubiquitously...
