Squidoo Copywriting?

Hello Marketers,

I decided to stop being so scatterbrained and flaky and made the decision to focus on one method of making money. I like "Homeless to Harvard" types of stories so I chose to start with a method that requires $0, a brain, and an internet connection.

I went to this post regarding the best threads on WF, then chose to follow this eBook from that post.

I set up my first Squidoo lens only to find that I'm a terrible copywriter. It's so bad I don't think I'll post it here. I'm going to set up a second lens and run the experiment from start to finish. I think I'll work on writing slippery content this time.

Understanding that, I'm sure that my issue is not one of fundamentals, but one of application. Specifically, I've never written for Squidoo.

Does anyone know of a swipe file specific to converting traffic to ClickBank on Squidoo?

Google Keywords-> Squidoo-> ClickBank Publisher's Squeeze Page-> Sale

    I don't know of any swipe files on converting Clickbank products on Squidoo, but I want to let you know of this trend:
    Squidoo has really been cracking down on Clickbank products these days, due to many perceived "spammy" topics (e.g. they will no longer allow people to discuss weight loss products, ****, and many others..).

    Even the very mention of Clickbank in your copy will trigger their filters, and will likely delay or completely deny publication of your lens. I wrote a content-rich lens on a subject totally unrelated to Clickbank - but was promoting one of the Clickbank products (which I believe is a very good product) - but they locked my lens saying that it was because of the "Clickbank product."

    So... please go to Squidoo and review their terms of service and their updates before you spend too much time. You can contact someone as well - search within Squidoo for the topics "posting guidelines" or something like that for starters.

    Oh - if you happen to get a different response or answer than I got about the Clickbank product mention, would you please let me know? I would like to hear how you fare!
