Disclaimers? What do i write?

Hey guys!

I am going to be marketing a type 2 diabetes prevention program, which will include meal plans, exercise plans, and 2 ebooks explaing the science behind why you get the dieases and what to do (this going along with the plans) to prevent or control it.

The information is completely truthfull and real. I am a nutritionist/trainer and have seen the results right before my eyes. I have also studied biochem and know the reasons behind why everything works.

Of course, once I start selling this someone could easily claim they were following my guidlines (even if they were eating a snickers bar) and still get the disease and blaim me. This is why I need a disclaimer, the problem is I have no idea how to write it, or where on the long sales copy to place it. Can you help me with this?

Here is the website if you are interested : preventtype2diabetes.com

Thanks!

    Here's what you write:

"You know all that stuff I wrote in my letter. ...Just kidding. So put your wallet back in your pocket, and walk away."

Seriously. That's what you should write. It will save you a lot of time.

This says it all. You really need legal advice, here. My impression is that this is exactly the type of site that's high risk for legal/regulatory problems. Understandably.

(And paying a few bucks for the upgrade to take away the "Make a free website with Weebly" slogan across the bottom wouldn't hurt, either).

You've got bigger issues than a disclaimer at this point. Your opener is confusing:

Are You At Risk For Type 2 Diabetes Because You Neglect These Secrets?

What secrets? You talk about secrets and there aren't any to be found. That's confusing. Remember, a confused mind always says no. This appears to be a squeeze page so you simply need to grab the reader's attention and get the visitor's name and email.

I don't know where your traffic is coming from but if it's at all targeted chances are good that the visitor already has concerns about diabetes.

What I'd do is identify some of the more common (and not so common) warning signs that diabetes might be approaching. And then offer a simple headline. Something like:

Are You At Risk For Type II Diabetes? If You Have Any Of These Symptoms You Owe It To Yourself...

Then work the fear angle. Of course, your free ebook has some of the answers and leads the prospect where you want.

Your page is also a formatting nightmare. There are tons of free squeeze page templates out there. Get a pro to help you with the layout and perhaps even the writing. Good luck!

Quite right. Fear works the best for attitudinal change in the medical field.

A qualified person telling you "you need to do XXX or you're going to die within X years." is all it takes...
