rewriting sales copy

hi,

I'm an aspiring copywriter and I'd like to rewrite sales copy on clickbank to improve on my portfolio...Do I have to leave out testimonials in the rewrites?

    What portfolio on clickbank? You mean your salespage?

    Do you mean you want to take sales pages from clickbank, rewrite them, and them show them to your potential clients as examples of your work?

    Then, yes leave out the testimonials.

    But I just wouldnt do it anyways.

    I wouldnt want to hire someone only to find out that the examples they showed me never even sold anything, and on top of that, you didnt write them from scratch.

    Get some plr products and rewrite them, make them better than they were before. If the PLR package came with a "sales letter" then rewrite that, if it didnt, just write it yourself.

    I would suggest though that you just write it from scratch if you are going to be offering your services as a copywriter.

    Hi Kaymie,

    I wouldn't use them as samples for your work. Instead, rewrite them on "spec" and show samples of the rewrites to the original person selling the product.

    You can use this to get the Clickbank seller to perhaps hire you to beat their control.

    Best of all, when your sales copy outperforms, you can advertise how you improved your client's conversions. Now that would get you a lot of business
