Just put this together. Tell me what you guys think

  • Well, first I'd like to congratulate you! You obviously know what it takes to grab a hot-sounding domain name and how to format a quality opt-in page. I might add a blank for "First Name" so you can better personalize autoresponder e-mails to your customer. Very great opt-in page and good luck with it!

    • Stephanie, this is would actually be important if you personalized the emails for each separate email, but this is not the case.

Don't worry about the name field, I picked this advice up from a 6 figure a month marketer and advises to actually abandon that field. People are getting smarter and realize they are receiving automated messages and that email lists are less and less personalized.

Not only that, it's just easier.

      All the best,

      Ross
  • Not bad, a few benefits in the headline will seal the deal.
"Sells $500 Online in Just Six days....and reveals how You can ......., ......., and ....... instantly!
  • When I go to a landing page, optin page etc, I want to see something new. Something that hasn't already been done 1,000,000 times repetitively by other marketers/copywriters. You did well with the aesthetics of the site, but I just didn't see anything that really stood out to me in the copy or offer. - marketers are becoming way to predictable and your prospects are getting smarter, and a lot more predisposed to this kind of offer.

Bottom line: You haven't done anything that hasn't been done a million times already. Not only that your hook and benefits are more like features and not benefits. You could improve this 100%. Also the video didn't work.

    Best,

    Ross
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • The video isn't supposed to work, and Ross why would I do something completely 100% new? Why try to reinvent the wheel when you can use something that has been proven to work...

    • I told you why, your prospects are already predisposed to these same types of offers - beaten over the head with them. Do you want to gain new prospects or not? If you do, do something different.

If this works for you great, but I wouldn't be happy with it myself.

      Best,

      Ross
  • I think Ross is basically saying that you're lacking a real "hook." Something highly unusual, bizarre, or controversial that would invoke such curiosity the reader would be compelled to know more.

    • Well yes, but even more than that. I like to see copy that if nothing else - gives me useful information. Especially in the IM niche, that's building on a USP and also proof. Something that sets you apart from every other tom, dick and harry.

That's what makes good products, good copy and marketers. When they can create and think of new ways of doing things. I guess I'm just getting worn out of all the make quick cash schemes.

If you do nothing else but give good information, even if they don't optin you're leaving a lasting impression on that person and they will see that you're trying to offer a lot of value. More than likely they will eventually say, wow this guys got good stuff and do MORE business with you.

      Best,

      Ross
  • And you can do this in bullet points.

    For example.

    Taken from your first bullet;

    • The Secret Traffic Sources..?
Huh? what? What traffic sources and how do I know they aren't already traffic sources I'm already tapping into.

My version and keep in mind I did this off the top of my head.

    • The secrets behind Google alerts and how almost by mistake you will find thousands of new untapped traffic sources all from a couple keywords, every time you log into Google.

    This adds:
    information (proof) i.e Google Alerts
    specificity
    A little curiosity
Is a little blind, not giving you everything
and instant gratification, every time I log into google.

    I hope this helps,

    Ross
  • Thanks Ross, appreciate the help, gonna go edit, and see what I come up with.

  • Great feedback Ross.

In regards to adding or eliminating the First Name field, most marketers I've worked with get a heck of a lot more opt-ins with just the email field. Yes, you may see a better response from personalized emails (i.e. containing a first name) but getting more opt-ins & building a bigger list as quickly as possible will net you far more sales in the end.

    • Just off the top of my head, for the headline:

"How a broke-ass college student, begging for pizza crust on Monday, banked $6,000 online by Saturday evening."
