Well your doing the right thing.. your working on your site. We don't intend to hurt you, that is the byproduct of us reviewing your work. Stop imagining yourself being hurt by it, replace the image of you being hurt with one of how successful you will be by taking our advice. Doesn't that seem more exciting? You stick around here enough and you'll quickly see how fast you'll be writing more letters, almost to the point of feeling you were doing it subconsciously. And That's when you know you're getting it. It just takes a lot of effort on your part but you've already committed yourself to getting the life you want for yourself. Good Luck.

If you're like me, your ego is clear and present when showing your copy. But uh,...that's dangerous. (But don't feel bad about it. It's good to have pride in something you've worked hard on.)

When your sincere wish and ambition to succeed surpasses your reluctance to ask for, acknowledge and integrate the valuable criticism from those in this forum, you'll succeed far faster than you would if you coddled your own opinion of your work to the exclusion of all else.

I know. I've been there. They created far more work for me, but I'm a better person for it. (However the road does appear to be long, so I've got a lot of walking to do.)

Good job for recognizing it only serves to benefit by working with what they give you.

Lennox - Being an entrepreneur (even on the Internet) can be quite discourgaging at times.

And if you want to be in business for yourself you HAVE to learn to take, and deal with, information that you don't always like to hear. And then keep going.

Your ability to do this - to apply the lessons you learn, and keep going - is an important key to your successs as an entrepreneur.

EVERY successful person has had to face a harsh truth at some time. The very successful people face harsh truths a lot. However, each harsh truth brings you that much closer to your goal.

So, take heart; although the critiques (particularly in this section) are sometimes harsh, they're really not meant to hurt YOU. And, if it makes you feel better, know that every working copywriter has work they did in their early years that they KNOW would get trashed here today.

Take a day off, get away from the piece, and then try it again with a fresh eye.

And - major props for responding with such class. THAT, alone, will store up a lot of good will here.
