COPY WRITING

Hello

I'm curious to learn what copywriters you admire the most? Or even what websites have stuck out in your mind as well written?

I'm throwing in Chris Rempel. Relatively short, to-the-point copy that gives you everything you need to know!

Joe Vitalie, Bob Bly, Willie Crawford and Mark Joyner all have different slants on copy writing - learning from each one is a potent formula.

Also, don't take a one demimensional perspective on these guys. They all have an all encompassing marketing strategy that puts them at the top of there profession(s).

  Thanks

The crazy thing for me is that I actually feel like I can hear Clayton Makepeace talking to me in my head.

  It's actually a little scary

I second this. I have a ton of the man's books, and would keep buying them if he were writing any more.

Gary Halbert is MY guy!

Then of course you have Eugene Schwartz, John Carlton, Gary Bencivenga and quite a few others

But, Halbert is my "Go To" guy

Name dropping is easy. The copy that first excited me was
Drew Alan Kaplan's. All the writers mentioned above are
excellent technicians but most of them made their mark
spending other people's money on advertising - so if you
want to do that they are good role models.

I like the guy who writes the J. Peterman catalogs.

Joe Sugarman, Kaplan, Thalheimer, Peterman, Ben Suarez -
these guys NEVER worked as freelancers - they were
running their own businesses with their own money on the
line... Ted Nicholas too, Bill Myers, Gary Halbert to some
  extent.

  Thanks
