Need Sales Page Template...PLEASE

Okay copywriters, I'm really wearing my heart on my sleeve here.

I've been flat out told by affiliates that they won't promote my products,
not because the products suck or the sales copy sucks, but because the
sales page look (template) is 1997ish.

So where can I get a really cool looking sales page template? I realize that
I'm not going to get a free one that will look good enough for affiliates to
want to promote it. So where can I buy one that, hopefully, won't cost an
arm and a leg?

Or do I literally have to have a professional designer make one for me and
charge me up the ying-yang?

Any help in this area will be greatly appreciated.

  • Steve,

You could edit these, they're free... MiniSiteGallery.com » Free Mini-Site Templates & Design

And for that "sexy" Kajabi style feel, there's http://www.optimizepress.com.

    Hope that helps,

    -Scott

P.S. Sometimes "ugly" works best. In some cases I've worked on projects where we dropped $1k+ on graphics and it was worth every penny. Just FYI.

    • First of all, my thanks to everybody who took the time to assist me on
this. I really do appreciate it more than you will ever know. When it comes
to sales page templates, I am definitely 13 years ago.

This kind of response is why I love this forum and you guys so much.

Scott, this site is a home run for great looking templates.

Mike, these are for low end products so I think they'll be just perfect.
I will keep in mind what you said when I finally release my physical
product later this year. And no, I didn't forget. I still want you to write
      the copy for me.

Let me know how many months in advance I have to book you.

  • Steven,

For any mid to high priced point product, I usually recommend hiring a graphic designer to create a custom minisite.

For quick & dirty templates that look great I suggest checking out these two which the WSOs should still be active.

    Creationspire (John Daniel)

    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...ry-prices.html

    Minisite Emergency (Minisite Frog)

    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...ches-19-a.html

You can find some free templates in the War Room but they're usually for personal use only.

    Hope that helps,

    Mike

Really depends on what you're selling. But if you want a very clean-looking page and your copy and offer are good, have a look at what Jack Duncan put out a couple of years back - Place Your Title Here

Not exactly a template, per se, but easy enough to reproduce.
  • Designers probably aren't as expensive as you'd expect. I have a VERY tight development budget on most projects, but I still usually manage to get a page design that better suites my needs from Jason at sitestomp.com. Totally worth it.

    • If you're interested in Wordpress, I'm pretty happy with FlexSqueeze. Easy to modify; easy to use.
  • Wow ! Home run share ! Huge thanks my friend, I have been looking all over for some free great looking squeeze page templates.

Optimize sounds pretty awesome, is its something you actually use or just promote ?
  • Steve, if you're looking for a plain style of sales page, I have a free Wordpress sales page theme: Marketing In Underwear » Free Wordpress Sales Page Theme

If you would like to spruce things up with some graphic headlines and stuff: Free Graphics Creator For Internet Marketers - Create Buy Now Buttons and Graphic Headlines

You don't have to optin or anything to get this stuff...

  • I've played with it. I have clients who use it. It's pretty cool.

I don't promote it (not-affiliated) but I've mentioned it a few times because it's a pretty neat solution.

I *usually* like plain ol' html for my sales letters, but Optimize Press is a very cool reason to take it to Wordpress.

  • Steven:

Kodi (krikkod) is the MAN when it comes to sales pages. Since he did some incredible work for me at an incredible price, I won't use anyone else.
  • Steve,

Dude... HOW much money do you make? And you're wasting your time building templates?

You can get a minisite design for about $100. Usually you have to be VERY clear on what you want from the designer, but it's hardly break-the-bank cash... especially for a dude like you.

    • Hi Steve,

after all those great recommendations (and I will go through them and check them out myself), my suggestion might come a bit late, and maybe unnecessary, but, well, I'm a great believer in lots of options for different purposes.

So, for what it's worth, and considering how many different ecovers and niche projects you create on a regular basis...

I've been getting some very nice minisites and ecovers from Cindy Ramsay (fellow warrior). Hehe, and quite a few of them for niche packs I bought from you.

She offers an incredible deal in her Lucky Ecovers membership site Lucky Ecovers | Discover Profit Boosting Graphics That Make Any Site Look More Professional and Catapult Sales. 100% Guaranteed! -- multiple minisites/blog themes/ecovers/month for a fixed amount (you can have 2 projects going at any time, and she tends to get you a draft version within 3 days and finishes the project within a day after you approve it.

I'll send you some of the links to the sites she's done for me if you like...

Actually, the freebies blog post in my sig will take you to a few of my Cindy-created squeeze pages (though she now has a new design and more options.

If you do want to try her membership, be sure to look for her WSO version of that unlimited minisite design package deal I linked to above, and you'll save even more.
