Would love your comments and feedback on my new sales page. This has been a really hard market for me and I welcome any harsh feedback.

    Hi,
    I skimmed your page and in all honesty it doesn't look bad it just doesn't make me want to build a family tree. Why would someone want to build a family tree, why would that be important to me, what would it do to make my life better? etc..

    Also something you may want to think about is other uses for genealogy. For instance my family owns an energy company in KY what we do is buy people royalites that they get each month from the gas company. Gas companies give people a 12th interest in the wells they drill on their land and those people pass that interest down to their kids and it gets divided evenly among each child. Eventually it gets passed down through so many generations that the orginal 12th is spread around to a lot of different people. What we do is try and reconstuct the 12th buying from all the people that it got spread around to. The problem is finding all these people and my mom came up with the idea to use genealogy.

    I would test the headline and include some more specific benefits... and then give a time frame of when they can have those specific benefits.

    Not saying you should use this one, but here is an example of what I mean.

    "Here's A New Guaranteed Way To Get The Names Of Your Ancestors Going Back More Than 400 Years In Only 14 Minutes ...Even If You Don't Know Where To Start & Had 0 Success With The Popular Online Genealogy Sites..."

    Thanks Alex. That makes a lot of sense.

    How do you feel about stating something in a headline that isn't true? I don't believe my product will get the names of ancestors going back 400 years in 14 minutes (but I love the way is reads/ sounds).
