Recession Affecting Online Sales?

In your opinion...

Is the recession affecting online sales?

Which niches do you think have been particularly hit hard?

And which niches are flourishing?

What is your experience of this recession? Is it affecting sales or not?

How reflexive are you as a copywriter and marketing consultant? How are you adapting to changes in the online marketplace?

Are you still feeling super confident about the future or are you struggling to make sales?

Discussion welcome...

Committed to your success!

Well, for one thing Pete, I have to work more hours than before to stabilize my income, and this even time managing my every tasks I set forth to do. Heavily multi-tasking for the last 4 months.

Indeed, I am sure that the recession which I think will become a depression eventually is affecting plenty of folks not only in IM but from all fronts.

I recall the early 80's was not going too good either, but not as bad as this and whats to come. I am not the negative type, but its the Real world out there and its eating folks up. Yes, we are in a deep recession as of this writing.

Only the strong will survive through this...but smile, those on WF are of the strong type right?

If you think and more importantly act as an entrepreneur you'll adapt to market forces and come through smiling.

As fast as one door closes another opens.

One has simply to keep your eye's peeled for sound opportunities, jump right in feet first and go for it. Spread your portfolio of risk not putting all your eggs into one basket.

And keep taking action. Action is very, very important. Ditherers will fall by the wayside. Action takers, risk takers despites ups and downs in the marketplace will inevitably always work on increasing their overall mean average income.

There are just as many good opportunities out there in a recession as there are in boom years if you know how to identify potential good markets.

People are still spending money, obviously.

Luxury items are on the decline, but 'do it yourself' products are on the rise.

I personally haven't seen much change in sales volume this year compared to last year. The American dream goes on, even if the dollar is bottoming out...

Follow the trends, or better yet, get in front of them... or better yet, start them.
