Can I Ask For Some Feedback

Hi Guys,

This is my first site that I have worked on for a while and really tried to get things right.

I am hoping to 'launch' it by the end of this week pending PayPal sandbox testing and amendments/modifications.

It is a website on self help/self improvement with a membership area.

There is a salespage - The Key of Life - which is selling three packages.

1. eBooks, Membership, monthly newsletter and daily inspirational messages
2. as 1 but with audio
3. Just membership

Membership is charged at $1 a day. The membership area includes audio, ebooks, video, articles which are updated every 7 - 14 days.

Having learned from past efforts, all my material is uploaded to AmazonS3 and autoresponders filled for the next six months so that I can concentrate on promoting.

Can you tell me honestly (but gently - this is my baby and I am proud of what I have done) what you think, if it can be improved and how and any other suggestions/ideas you have that you feel I should pay attention to or be aware of.

The link to my website is

Live It, Love It, Do It

You can navigate to the sales page by the clicking on 'Key of Life' in the main navigation.

Thanks in advance,

Michelle

PS. I know that the sales page needs optimising - meta keywords - just finalising some for each page
PPS. It's 11.15pm here in the UK and I am off to bed - mother of two rather energetic children kind of does that to you - so please do not be offended if you don't hear back from me until tomorrow am.
PPPS. Really looking forward to some feedback!

    Beautiful site...

...but you need a compelling headline so the reader will feel like they have to stay for your story so you get a chance to get a small percentage of them to take you up on your offer.

If you had a friend who was bicycling by and you only had a moment to tell them about the site you just created...

...what would you say so they would stop pedaling and stop and listen to you.

The scenery alone will not stop them.

    Michelle, what do you prefer?

We'll be nice to you and reality hits you hard...

    or...

You face the truth now, so it's a tiny bit easier in future?

In order to be gentle, here are some things you need to know?

    1) Don't use the same sales page to sell three products. Unless of course, you want to be the first one to make it work.

    2) Who are you customers? Right now it seems you're targeting everybody. Not a great idea.

    3) The image in your sales copy isn't helping.

    4) Your business turned around a corner? So how much do you make now? In a day, month , week...
    In other words, get specific!

    5) Following OutOfThisWorld's tip - what's the one thing that makes your product different from anyone else's?

This is just 1%, because you said to be gentle.

In any case, since you're going to spend a lot of time promoting, maybe you'll learn a lot along the way.

The fact that you're going to put effort into getting your product out there will get you some results.

Next time though, you might want to hold back on the 6-month autoresponder thing until you have got more details about your market.

      Hey Michelle,

A common mistake I see a lot of Internet Marketers do, is try to have their page doing so many things at once. Though, the page is great, you need to focus more on one thing, and then lead your readers down that intended sales path, all the way from start to finish.

So, for example, if the goal of the page is just to get opt-ins, have your copy JUST focus on opt-ins. If it's about about selling Product A, have it be all about leading your readers down the path, from start (grabbing their attention) to end (compelling call to action).

How the site currently looks, it seems like your trying to do everything with one page, sell, for example, 3 products, get opt-ins, etc. etc. It's going to cause your readers to bounce around a bit too much, and ultimately get overwhelmed with all the different stuff, and leave the site. What you want to do instead is figure out exactly what you want to get your readers to DO, on any given page, and then, set that page up entirely JUST to get the reader to perform that one action.

If you need anymore help let me know, I'm sure you can turn this website into a huge success, with just a few minor changes.

        Good Morning!

When I said gentle, I just meant not masterblast me for trying someething which I see so many times on other forums. I'm tough so I can take constructive and useful criticism (like I got) on my chin

I should obviously give WF members a lot more credit

When you say 'beautiful site' are you referring to the main LivingYourLifetoday or the Key of Life?

I'm thinking that you are also saying, concentrate on one product - product 1 and use Product 2 and 3 as an upsell and a downsell? I could also use a sample chapter in pdf and mp3 to get emails as a last gasp before they left the site?

Cam, I would welcome any advice that you have - that's why I asked for your guy's feedback.

@AdwaordsMogul - can you be a little more specific as to which image in my sales copy isn't working and more importantly why?

        Thank you,

        Michelle

    Michelle,

I spend a lot of my time doing C-R-O on sites, rather than sales-pages so this is kinda of a love for me and I can get a little anal about it.

There's a lot to improve and there's a lot you've done really well, so much better than 97% of sites out there. Trust me, you wouldn't believe what I see day-to-day.

Here's two most important things you can take away from what I can say to you though,

    1. Change the black background, light text on a black background is proven to have a lower CR

    2. Your site doesn't scream at me within 3 seconds of landing on it what benefit I will get from it.

Focus on these to and you'll see an improve of anywhere between 20 - 50% if not more, honest.

      Morning All,

I have made some changes taking on board your comments and would like your feedback on them.

You can find the changes here

Key of Life Sales Page Revisions

I have changed the background on the main Living Your Life Today website to a lighter colour and changed the main headlines too.

The images of the products are being reworked but the issue that we have is that there are so many individual products, it's much harder to display them all without taking up the whole page....unless anyone has a suggestion for that??

@AdwordsMogul - I look forward to receiving your video audit

      Many thanks,

      Michelle
