    Hi Fatema
That's a bit of a broad question so maybe try and be more specific and I'm sure people will try and help.
The idea of a squeeze page is literally to give a visitor just two options..leave or convert. The conversation could be many different things..maybe to subscribe to something, maybe buy something

      And now for the mechanics.

You need some reason for people to "give" you their email addresses, some item or information of value to them that promises to help solve a problem, or make life easier.

You need what is essentially a salespage with a benefit driven, big promise headline and body copy that "sells" them on the idea of signing up to your list.

You need a webpage containing the above.

And you need a sign-up form. This you acquire by purchasing autoresponder serverices from an AR company. They will manage your list for you. You pick a form from the AR service's website, and they give you the code to add into the HTML of your website. Once you put that code into your site, the form will show up on your webpage.

You will tell the AR company where you have stored the download that goes to people who join your list. When someone signs-up, the AR company sends that person a reminder to opt-in, and an opt-in link for your list.

As soon as someone clicks on the opt-in link, the one the AR sent to them by email, the AR company automatically sends the download page to the new member of your list. The download page gives the new "member" access to the place on your Website where you have stored the .pdf or audio or video you are giving to them.

Does this help, and make things a little clearer?

    Learn from my mistakes.

I spend thousands of dollars on a clever email server setup with custom code and ip reputation management etc...

I have dropped it all now and I am using aweber as the deliverability is so much better (although I still manage all my old lists through existing system as aweber doesnt let you import).

Sign up for aweber and you can generate the form code that you can plonk onto your html page and you have the basic "under the hood" stuff taken care of.

Then its just down to you to make a compelling page that makes people want to fill in their details.

I use "Profits Theme" which you can see in action on the sites in my signature. Makes it real easy to create awesome squeeze pages. You just need a self hosted wordpress site, the theme is $97 which is a good price and the video tutorials are easy to follow. Google it or check the WSO section

    1. Find out a free squeeze page template, it's easier to re-write a template than to write from ground zero.
    2. Use a HTML editor to edit your squeeze page with WYSIWYG interface, like dreamweaver (paid) or PageBreeze (free). So you don't really have to deal with HTML codes.
    3. Edit the graphic, write the headline, bulletpoints what will your subscribers get, a call to action.
4, for the "name - email" optin box, you'll get the code from your autoresponder service. copy paste the optin HTML code to the code section.
    5. submit the file through filezilla to your hosting.
    Done!

I recommend you to download free software - Kompozer.
I made my squeeze page using Kompozer and it looks pretty good:
Want To Revive Passion In Your Relationship?
    KompoZer - downloads
Also it's not very difficult even if you have no any knowledges in HTML.

P.S You can find templates simply using Google search. There are thousands of good templates on the web. And also you can use search on Warrior Forum and find Free WSO with good templates!
    Good luck!

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing guys.. In the squeeze page, we will need an autoresponder provider,
which is the best, do you think? ;-)

Aweber comes highly recommended. It's pretty intuitive but there are great tutorials if you get stuck.
