Membership Site Copy - Any Examples?

Hi Guys,

Will be writing copy for my first membership site with multiple levels of membership...any links to winning sales letters I can take look at...or examples of your own work?

      Ben Settle's letter for the "The Crypto Marketing Newsletter" is pretty good.

      Notice how he uses the technique of mostly selling the bonuses.

      Also notice how heavily he relies on bullets.

          Hey John,

          I was just working on a project with multiple tiers of membership. In the end, I couldn't find a way to make the case for all 3 in the copy, without sacrificing the selling power of each of them.

          In the end, it might be best to sell the highest tier first - if they don't buy, you can try a downsell sequence.

          Otherwise, the GKIC model is the best fit.

          It comes down to the overall strategy.

            Yeah, having too many options and levels on a sales page will confuse people.

            In the end, it might be best to sell the highest tier first - if they don't buy, you can try a downsell sequence.
            This sounds like very good advice.
            Also the opposite, an upsell sequence is worth a test.

            In any case- testing is what will prove the best strategy in the end.

              The only reason I'd be skeptical of upselling to a higher membership is this:

              It's easier to write a long piece and sell them on premium membership and then logically sell a "lower level"...

              If you sell low and try to upsell high, you'll need more copy and there will be more resistance - a whole NEW barrier on price.

              Make sense?

            I don't have any experience of membership sites specifically, but for other tiered products I've found this to be the most effective way of doing it. Concentrate on the highest-value tier and then present the others as downgrades (for everyone who's 'not quite ready' for the top level) and you'll get a far higher proportion of top tier sales.

        Why not present the tiers in a summary? Use a simple table format to give your readers a visual overview of what it is they get with each tier.

          @Ewen - I was actually trying to avoid the Glazer-Kennedy model, but in the end, it is the most efficient one - layout's great and the rundown is very accessible.
