anyone who missed the post about the Total Package...

well, it's sort of back - Clayton and Wendy have kindly agreed to allow some of their much loved stuff to make its way over to the Direct Marketing blog....

and posts should be appearing every Monday - this is gold dust for all of us!

    In the blog post that arfasaira is pointing to Clayton is making a reference to his business model for freelancers, "The Makepeace Business System".

    When he was selling his products he offered this one, though I don't recall the price. I believe it was something between $300 and $500.

    In any event I bought it because I did not read the copy closely and thought it was more towards product owners, not freelancers.

    I did pick up a few nuggets from it, but honestly since I'm not a freelancer and have no plans to ever be one - it's pretty much just gathering dust.

    So...if someone here has something good they'd be interesting in trading for the MBS let me know, I'd probably be interested in the right offer.

    I remember that first blog post from Clayton, created a lot of commotion. One of the better known "copy coaches", whose name escapes me, took issue with his characterizing traditional freelancing as 'dead' etc. ...and he responded pretty strongly.
