Selling online ad space to local businesses - Need advice on a good sales page

Hi, I have a website that offers a service similar to Groupon and the rest of the "daily deal" websites. Basically, local businesses get a coupon listing on my website.

I need a good sales page to direct business owners (who I've already contacted) for a) more info about advertising with me and b) to push them into action and actually sign up.

What would be a good type of sales page for this kind of service? Since it's business to business, I need something a little more professional and less spammy looking than the traditional sales pages I've seen talked about on here.

Any advice or examples that you could point me towards would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I was hired to do this exact type of work for a coupon company about 4 years ago.

Since it doesn't sound like you're planning on budgeting much for custom copy...don't make this so complicated.

I'll give you a tip worth about $35,000.00 (since you said local, I doubt you want to spend much to get a customized page).

Why not use the format other companies in this field use as a template? Just change it to fit your situation.

You don't always have to reinvent the wheel - use what's there and run with it - I guess you could call this tip the poor mans way to using high cost copywriters.

Do what you want with this tip - I'm sure if you prefer to foot the bill for a custom copy, someone will be happy to help you.

Here's a setup you can look at that I think is a good example to use - seems like someone did a good job putting this together

Make sure you click on all the links at the top and side in order to get all the info. You shouldn't have any problem changing this to fit your situation.
