Do Your Dam Research!

Hey warriors,

I've noticed a ton of warriors asking for critiques for their
copy and I notice something that they usually all have in
common.

THEIR LACK OF RESEARCH

Now I'm not ranting at all. I would just like to give a quick
pointer for the new guys that are thinking about writing
some copy for their own products or whatever the cause may be.

When it comes to writing copy, the first step is and should always be
researching your prospect. You need to know them better than you
know yourself. How?

HIT THE FORUMS

I decided to choose the "stress relief" niche for examples sake.
I typed in "stress relief forum" and clicked on one of the many
results uncle G brought up.

so what did I see when I first got their on their website?
A freaking poll that literally said "What Stress Relief Product Would You Choose?"

WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT!?

Take a look around the forums and checkout what people want, what
people need, what people are having problems with.

Of course you theirs more to it, but you should be able to get a huge
head start by checking out the forums first.

Best Regards,
Copywriting Tony

I feel that people who ask for critiques of their writing come across as through they are lacking in self-confidence. Now, it is good to be humble and there is surely nothing wrong with asking for help. This is not a field for the meek, though. That is for sure.

Research your market properly and you'll identify what works easily. You can ask for people's opinion but don't depend on it too much cos there will always be conflicting perspectives.Just do the best you can and see the outcome--out there in the market.
