      Funny.

If you're a copywriter, you should be used to digging in and spending hour upon hour learning.

Well, I do learn a lot, but I preffer to learn from absolutely best stuff, rather than wasting time on something that I might not like.

I Read 500 pages book from Bencievenga last week, that's worth reading.

I mainly focus on things that I think my target audience would be interested in. So I'll send out all sorts of information on business to business marketing, on technology marketing, and I'll publish - I'll link to my own blog post or whatever I'm doing as well a lot of links to things that are happening in the industry, other industry reports that people are publishing, just interesting things that I find on Twitter.

When I first got started 3 years ago, I made the mistake of giving people what I thought they wanted rather than letting them dictate to me what they're willing to buy. Sometimes the best lessons are the ones learned the hard way. Though, it would be better to just listen to people and heed the advice of those who know what they're talking about.

gjabiz, isn't that what its all about. Just focus on what the audience wants and give it to them.

The challenge is that too many people do it backwards. They create the solution and then go try and find people that have the question.
