"You Have Just Discovered How To Never
    Pay Another Graphic Designer
Another Cent Ever Again!" - passive voice. boring.

You are talking like it's super cheap and easy to make
your own covers but the elephant in the closet is that
the reader has to own photoshop.

So he has Photoshop but he's too cheap to spend money
    on an E-cover?

Maybe your product is too cheap. People will think other,
pricier actionscripts are better. After all, they spent money
on PhotoShop, won't they want a quality actionscript?

Your letter almost assumes the reader has not looked at
another ActionScript solution. It also pretty much ignores
the fact that he needs to own Photoshop - ie. "If you
already own Adobe Photoshop you have a money machine
on your desktop and this package will give you everything
you need to start making money with your Photoshop software"

    Hi Jamie,

I agree with Loren - your headline sucks. As it is the most read and most important part of your sales copy its pretty likely that most vistors leave within a couple of seconds. To get round the "Photoshop" problem why not see if either of these free softwares Paint.NET from Paint.NET - Free Software for Digital Photo Editing (This is a free imaging tool including layer support, magic wand etc saves having to buy PaintShop Pro X) or Inkscape 0.46 from Inkscape. Draw Freely. will work with your product. If they do then you can offer this as an additional benefit of having your product.

    All the best.

yep, the headline sure does suck.

Try using this site to help you develop a good headline: Advanced Marketing Institute

it took me about 30 seconds to come up with this one:

"Are You Ready To Discover The Secret Tool Professional Designers Use To Create Stunning Graphics?"

    It scores 60%.

If you throw in "eCover" right before graphics, it still scores pretty good at 56%.

    Make your headline exciting.

Don't get so wrapped up in making money that you forget the important things in life.

If it was my product I would jack the price up to about $200, create video training tutorials showing how to create sweet ecovers, and turn it into a "business in a box" type thing for people who want to do ecovers for a living.

But the very first thing I'd do is get some good examples up there, those covers on your site are awful.

    Hi Jamie,

Clear and simple this is what you should do:

    1. Make A Better Headline

The headline is the most important aspect to any sales letter. This is what your customers will pay attention to first.

    2. Put Some Meat Into Your Copy

Get a thesaurus like 'Words That Sell' and Joe Vitale's book called 'Hypnotic Writing' and whack some life into your copy.

    3. Add Testimonials With Pictures Of Previous Customers And Make Them More Visible

People want to see what others think of your product.

    Hope that this helps.

    All The Best.

    a few headline suggestions:

"Use The Secret Tool Designers Use To Create Stunning Graphics.. and Never Pay $27, 47, $97 or More EVER Again!"

"Give Your 'E-Cover Artist' The Finger* Once & For All... Never Pay Him or Her $27, 47, $97 EVER Again!"
*Here's how to politely let them think they are #1 while you move on.
