I have been reading this forum for quite a while now, and I really love the information that is freely available.

Having said that, I performed an experiment for one of my sales pages. I measured the CTR to the order page, which in the old copy hovered around 4%.

I made three small changes that I read in different books, and the results were amazing. First, I changed the background to a blueish color. Second, I changed the "Buy Now" button to "Add to Cart", and third I placed two "Add to Cart" buttons instead of a single one.

CTR to the order page increased to 7%! This represents a TON of money in the long run by just tweaking stuff a little bit. I hope this helps someone and I'll keep testing and report my findings.
