Swipe files for great internet sales letters?

I have heard of the Gary Halbert letters, and I have the Denny Hatch book of direct mail letters...I was wondering, though, where can I get a good swipe file of current top internet sales letters? I have heard that internet marketing has a different dynamic and changes often, so that's why I wanted to see updated swipes. Thanks!

You need to note five things:

    1. Copywriting online or offline is about persuasion.
    2. Human psychology doesn't change.
3.The internet is medium just like TV or Newspaper.
    4. A sales letter whether online or offline has one main purpose -to induce a sale.
    5. If you need a good swipefile, you can buy it or build yours.

    Therefore ...
-If you master letters even from the 1920s, it will be easier for you to write for the internet.
-You can use Clickbank to build your swipefile
-You can join mailing list of top internet marketers or copywriters and they will regularly send you the best letters free.
-You can Google the word swipefile several will come up that you can buy.

Lastly, give specifics of either the industry or copywriters I could help you with what I have.

She did indeed. You are quite correct Alex.

However, good Internet marketing copywriting has a lot to learn from what has taken place before, hence, it is still 100% relevant. Unless you're saying that Internet copywriting has no real benefit to be derived from what has been written in generations past?

    Thanks everyone!

@abugah: why are the letters from the 1920s so important? My favorite copywriter is Eugene Schwartz. I just love reading his ads. However, I wonder if the dynamics has changed since we live in a different time now.

As for Clickbank, I read somewhere in this forum that we can do an advanced search for gravity over 150 for the top sales letters. What is gravity in a Clickbank search anyway, and why should we go by that to find top letters?

I am interested in the financial and tech industries. As for copywriters, my absolute favorite is Schwartz, but I'm not sure if I should be following newer copywriters for amore updated view.

    Thanks for your help everyone!

Count me as another vote for Agora and Bottom Line Secrets.

Here's a sales letter I like from Agora's Early to Rise newsletter:

China Wholesale Trader by Marc Charles

And here's one for an offer being advertised in one Bottom Line Secrets (Though I do disagree with making claims of "curing disease"):

Bottom Line's SUPERFOODS RX: How to Unlock the Power of Foods to Prevent and Even Cure Disease!

Banner spy tools are great (best for swipe imo)... because you can see what is working best RIGHT NOW in a specific market and traffic source.

For example, Olivia, you could find all of the companies paid ads outofthisworld mention. You will see there top converting banner /text ad, the traffic network it comes from, the domain and exact page, the squeeze page, the funnel, etc.

If you wanted to see the top ad spenders on big ad networks for keywords like "investor" banner spy tools will pull up all that information on the biggest spenders in that market.
