Great Community - Joined Tonight - Few Tips!

Was inspired to join the Warrior Forum tonight, during my lovely copywriting overnighter, for a main-market fitness program. Never realized so many copywriters-in-training were out there.

Here are some thoughts that may help some of you.
· Please don't get stuck in the exact specifics of the structural 'guidelines' you may be following, often the best copy transcends the stereotypical structural archetype. Many times going 'against the grain' rhetorically, in terms of the style used in your niche, will help conversion rates in and of itself.
· Try to write your copy in 1 sitting, at least that helps me, because upon returning the subsequent day, often times, one loses that initial direction and the copy becomes disconnected.
· In internet copywriting there are, by-and-large, no hard-and-fast rules for all contexts. Often times, an understanding of copy style within the niche you are selling in, can assist you in differentiating your pitch.
· Understand value and perceived value and remember too many free this, free that, bonus 1, if not strategically focused, can and often does, mitigate the perceived value of the product at hand.
o Because, what do free bonuses imply? It implies the product was not good enough on its own, by-and-large.

Great start on your third post...

The impact of bonuses on sales depend on many factors like the product, audience, tradition or the manner they are presented. Whether they reduce the perceived value of the product or not could best be answered by testing.

I bought a product recently, and the owner replied back mentioning the bonus mentioned in the sale copy. I had no even noticed there was a bonus. I bought the product on its merit, not for the bonus....didn't even know there was a bonus
