Copywriting and Heatmaps ... Help or Hinder?

Question for copywriters. Do you or have you used heatmaps? Are they accurate or hocus pocus? Any thoughts.? I don't hear anyone talking about it in the W.F . But I am noticing more articles about it around the web.

  • I've studied them to learn about human interaction with web pages, images, text, etc. Now I just use that information in my page design and layout. I don't actively do anything with them.

    • That's interesting, it seems they would help improve ones copywriting if they really work like the ads say they do. I'm skeptical because I've never heard of any copywriters using them. At least none that would admit it. I've never even heard any talk about it yea or ney, I've just recently heard of them in the last year or so, but evidently they've been around for may years.
