Emotional Triggers for Fundraising?

I am attempting to raise some funds through donations for
a new weight loss product of mine. What emotional triggers
do you think I should hit in my sales letter?

(Should I just make it ultra-sad like the fundraising videos
on television? lol).

      You have to make it really easy for them to give whatever amount they can.

      At my current income, $10 is pushing it unless I REALLY care, but $1 is easy. $100 is completely over my head.

      At the casinos in Vegas, they have little slot machines that will accept everything from nickles to $100 to get the last little bit of money you've got. If you can keep that in mind with your fundraisers and find a way to make sure that you can keep a piece of those nickles, you'll be much better off.
