  • ...pretty much everyone who posts here on any kind of regular basis.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • ...and some who don't.

If you look at the copywriting forum in the WF archives (from the WF prior to August 8, 2008) -- I contributed quite a bit. Having all my content disappear from the forum was a bit disheartening ( even if it IS in the archives. ) and kind of put a damper on "regular" contributions. But I thank Allen for grandfathering me into the War Room ...

Tim Castleman isn't the "Magnetic Copywriter", btw ...

And Colin Theriot would probably be a good addition, as well...

Anyway, someone kindly mentioned in a skype group that I'm in that neither Colin nor I were on the list ... so I thought I'd drop by and make the addition.

Great list there, btw ... the problem with making lists like this, of course is ...
    1. best by whose criteria and what criteria? And for what kinds of copywriting ?
    2. leaving people out (I can think of a few others who might be worth adding ... )

    Anyway ... carry on ...

These are all individuals I personally know or have regularly exchanged communications with in the past. Guys and ladies who I know can deliver. Ladies and gentlemen who I know can live up to expectations.

It wouldn't be feasible to add every single name to the list.

      A/ I don't know everyone.

B/ The list would be too long if I did.

If I left you out, I'm sorry. I just wasn't aware of your copywriting prowess.

      It is how it is.

  • I've worked with both David Raybould and Daniel Scott on launches, and both are excellent.

Not sure how much Dan will appreciate this, but I once had a launch and needed a copywriter in a niche that Dan had never worked in. Ok, no problem - but our deadline was only 3 or 4 days out and he delivered us some great copy!

This isn't saying slam Dan with your last minute projects, but to say he's willing to work his balls off to make sure he really understands your niche, product, market, hook etc etc and get it right.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Nice, Brandon... both former students of mine. I'm a proud papa.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Hmmm, How did you come up with this list? Do I need to create a product to get on it?
    • [1] reply
    • LOL -- helps to read the thread -- question was already asked and answered...

Though the answer doesn't QUITE explain Tim Castleman (someone I happen to know pretty well) being on the list, especially since "magnetic copywriter" ISN'T Tim ...
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Awesome list, I learned about a lot of people today.
  • My copy sold over 7000 units of my own products the past 2 months and I didn't make the list.

Recognition, awards, and ego stroking mean exactly DICK when it comes to copywriting in my opinion...
    • [ 2 ] Thanks
    • [1] reply
    • If it means "dick" to you then why did you feel compelled to notify us that you've sold "7,000 units" and that you "didn't make the list?"

Your 1st sentence and your 2nd sentence seem to contradict each other. Can you clarify what your trying to say here?
