Thank you card with coupon

I'm working on a thank you card to send all clients after they receive service. I'd like to include small coupons to go with the card that they can give to their friends as a way to bring more business in.

So I was thinking of something like:

Thank you very much for choosing our business for your computer service. I hope that your computer is working perfectly - if it isn't, please let us know so we can help resolve any problems you have.

You may not know this, but most of our business comes from word of mouth - people recommending us to their friends. If you found us good enough to recommend to your friends, I'd really appreciate it if you would. In appreciation for your business and time, I've included some coupons with this card that will give your friends a discount to service done at our shop. When they bring them in, we will automatically enter you for a contest for free stuff from our store.

Thanks again, and if you have any computer needs in the future, please remember that we are here to help you with them.

Then I'd like to write something on the card itself, but I'm coming up blank.
Maybe something like.

"We appreciate that your friend, Bob Jones, has recommended you bring your computer to us. To show our appreciation, we'd like to offer you a discount on service of 15% on all regular service and 25% on our popular Gold Service package. Because of high demand, we can only extend this offer until [Date]. Bring in your computer and let us help you solve any problems you may be having."

Please feel free to pick this apart and let me know what I'm doing wrong, as I'm not very good at this.

Thanks.

  • Hey -- looks like you'd didn't get a whole lot of feedback on this.

Are you still needing help? If so, I would start by finding ways to tighten everything up. People generally don't spend much time reading things that don't have much impact on them.

Is there a way to communicate what you're trying to say in 2-3 sentences?

And even better, is there a way to do it WITHOUT sounding like you're asking for permission or favors?

Think about the value you're providing to people. Punch that up.
"We hope your new computer is satisfying every techno-need you could ever dream. If not, we want to hear about it, as we're 100% committed to your satisfaction. If it ain't right, we'll make it right."

Show that you're 1000% confident that you are offering the best product, the best service, and that you want to offer that same greatness to their friends. Confidence and care without cockiness.
