Correct on both counts. However, there is no law in the US which guarantees you the right to have your speech promoted at someone else's expense. None.

If you're referring to the First Amendment, perhaps you might consider reading it. It starts out "Congress shall make no law..."

Congress. And law. Not private citizens, on private property.

Further, it has been long established that the right to freedom of expression specifically includes the right not to be forced to support or facilitate the speech of others with whom one disagrees.

If Allen wanted to make a rule that required every post to begin with words starting with Z, B, or Q, that would be perfectly legal. (Dumb, but legal.)

I have never said that discussion here is without limit or restriction. I said that the type of speech you referred to isn't quite as limited as you claim. And gave you the opportunity to look around and see for yourself that it's not the topics which get people banned. It's the way they're sometimes approached.

As I said to someone else here recently, the next time you get drunk and stupid in a bar, tell the bouncer about your right to "free speech" while he's escorting you from the premises. Here's a clue for you, Maximess: Saying things which are easily proven to be factually incorrect is not the most effective way to establish a solid basis for an argument.

You either never get into the main discussion forum, or you're just not paying attention. We have threads about that all the time. And, as is often the case, most of the comments are broad generalizations, presented as all-encompassing gospel truth.

We leave some posted, and we delete others if the topic is becoming too common over a given period of time, or if they're sufficiently ridiculous. Just like we deleted a bunch of the threads about SOPA when there were already 5 or 6 existing ones for people to post in.

Oh... as far as whatever deleted post you're on about... No clue. Didn't see it.
