McDonald's stepped in it... and then things got worse.

I don't know how many folks here do Twitter on a big scale, but there are lessons to be learned.

    Definite lesson to be learned here. I think it proves how integrated a social media campaign needs to be within a company. It sounds like there were too many people in charge of the campaign at McDonald's so it had no clear direction and no one to stage an intervention!

    LOL, McDStories just sounds like its asking to hear about a bad experience.. they should have just kept their MeetTheFarmers tag.

    I remember when McDonald's had their "I'd hit it" tagline. Seriously -- does the Micky D's marketing team not think some of these things through?
