      They must be one of the oldest, the most well established, most well known brand names this side of the pond in this industry spending millions annually on advertising across many different marketing mediums.

      It's the first name you think of automatically and naturally when you think of condoms.

      For coke you think Coca Cola. For burgers McDonalds. For condoms Durex.

      What more proof do you need? They sell upwards of one billion units a year. Fact. I'd say this is more than enough proof for you. Proof of an extraordinarily successful business model and more than enough evidence sex sells.
