Where Should I Go...

I’ve been desperately trying to avoid the Internet for years.

I’m dense when it comes to all things technical.

But the clients won’t let me.

So I agreed to do the copy and leave all the voodoo stuff to them.

But it’s got to a stage when many clients’ web people have less of a clue than I have.

So...

Can anyone recommend a good web developer in the UK.

And a good graphics person.

Not necessary cheap but not wickedly expensive.

The main proviso is – they won’t mind dozens of stupid “surely you know this” type questions.

    I have a person in Indonesia who builds websites and makes them mobile friendly too.

    Uses Wordpress so that you can go in to change the text. Changing the text is as simple as copying and pasting.

    He has the patience of an angel, so you won't be made to feel stupid because of your lack of knowledge.

    • I have two people I work with regularly - my webmaster is in Australia and is the most easiest going person I know - very trustworthy and honest and I've been working with him a year now. Time difference is a bummer though - its often late nights (past 1am) or very early mornings, although he is usually around until lunchtime.

      He is a wordpress wizard, and because he does regular work for me, I get a very heavily discounted rate.

      My go to designer is someone in Singapore - totally AWESOME designs, quick turnaround and very reasonable. I've worked with him repeatedly and get mates rates with him.

  • For graphics that sell, check out Mr. Subtle in this forum.

    He often posts samples here in reply to posts, so you can see for yourself.

    Did the one for my WSO (which was already converting at 6%), and it immediately bumped conversion results up 16%. And there they have stayed.
