But while perusing through some mailing services, I stumbled across some offline campaigns with the facts and figures to go with them
The importance of profiling -- Canadian Red Cross generates 53% increase in response rates
The importance of packaging -- Heart and Stroke Foundation see 12% increase among existing donors and 22% increase among prospective donors
The importance of nation -- Adding a Canadian touch to Canadian mailings generated 25% increase in subscriptions
All of the above are self promoting from Canada Post's angle, but it gives some good insight.
Of course, you probably knew this already. But it's nice to see some numbers once in a while.
