Opt-in Page Copy....Thoughts/Feedback?

currently have three optin pages to my interview site I am testing. Still many questions in my mind, any wisdom out there?:

-give audio preview on landing page or not? auto-play or not?
-include photos or not?
-is my "free" offer compelling? How can I make it moreso?

Unable to put links in this post...use
Link in my signature to get to the main page I'll see if I can change my sig to have all three landing pages.

Thoughts and Feedback Invited

Thanks,

More and more I prefer shorter optin pages.... video prefered, but audio ok. If if looks like the page is going to extend much past the fold.... I think it is going to take longer than I want to spend so I don't hang around. This is consistent with what Kern/Matt Trainer proved in their most recent squeeze page testing.

Congrats, You did make your page short, that's good.
Here are some advices for you:

You definitely need more pictures and some videos which will boost your conversion rate.
Loose your paragraph a little bit, don't squeeze all of them together, human eyes can be just so tiring for such small charactor size.
Don't list all of your selling points, just list at most 5 UNIQUE selling points.

Because from the first glance of your page, I wouldn't mind leave it behind totally. I have to say it's too plain, no curiosity to go ahead.

I don't want to upset you, I hope my advice will help you to create a page with a higher conversion.

Impeccable timing. I just recently created a new report for Warriors that focuses just on optimizing your Opt-In page. I got a 270% increase personally, hopefully you can get the same.

It is a collaboration of techniques contributed by fellow Warriors and ones I've personally researched and tested.

No cost, No email required... just free content. Check out my sig.

The simple answer is to test. But here's what I do...

I have a photo to add a personal connection. (However, Tellman Knudsen has said his photos reduces his opt-in rate. Maybe it has something to do with his "mountain man" look! Test it and see what happens.)

If you have an auto-play, it should be a brief introduction, explanation of benefits and what they get, and call to action. (Sounded like you had a teleseminar excerpt.)

Have an opt-in form above the fold in addition to the one at the bottom of the page.

My squeeze page is getting a 24% opt-in rate without optimization--that's just what it turned out to be. It is in long-copy format like yours. I'm seriously considering changing it to video a la Frank Kern style. I heard his latest video opt-in page was getting 55%. His page is VERY simple. Hardly any copy whatsoever. (On the other hand, Tellman has gotten text-only opt-in pages to convert over 50% after extensive testing, as well.)

    From a copy standpoint...

Your headline is the highest-leverage point on your opt-in page and it's lacking:

    "Learn Proven Money-Getting System And
How You Can Put It To Work For You"

Twisted "Rags to Riches" Story Revealed...Why 9 Out of 10 People Who Try to Set Up Their Own Business On The Internet Fail.

First... no one wants to "learn". It's too much work. "Discover" is a much more powerful word that implies excitement and adventure.

"Money-Getting" is weak. "Get" is a weak verb because it's overused and generic. "Money Making" is better, but it's an overused cliche. I'd look for a different way to express this idea, and try to be more specific. (How is it money-making?)

"How You Can Put It To Work For You" Is also weak. What's the real benefit? What's unique about this? Can you be more specific here? And what's with all the "work"?

I don't believe "Twisted" is the appropriate word to use. It's not having the impact you intend. Perhaps it makes sense once you know the story... but see if you can identify what exactly is twisted about the story and reveal a hint of it in the headline. Gary Halbert was a master at this. For example, "Atlanta Housewife Investigated & Almost Arrested For Losing 73 Pounds." Now THAT'S "twisted"... and he didn't even use the word!

If you're going to use a copy intensive page, the copy must be very strong.
