Vin Montello copywriting

I'm looking for opinions/insight on Vin Montello's copywriting expertise because I am considering using his services for an upcoming launch.

Not to brag but I've already established my brand as the world's most renown expert for profiting from a very specific penny stock trading strategy.

I already maintain a paid membership site with +600 members paying $100-$1500/month with stellar reviews and a VERIFIED TRACK RECORD FOR MY TRADING GAINS.

My product launch will be the most successful penny stock launch in many years because unlike 99% of the penny stock products being sold by a "Psychic", a "Prophet" or an "EggHead" -- I'm the real deal and I have a verified track record to prove it.

Therefore I'm only looking for the best copywriter to work with and I've heard great things about Vin. However, I've been burnt in the past by copywriters who claimed to be "world renowned" so I wanted opinions from other Warriors.

Does Vin Montello have a stellar reputation as one of the top copywriters to work with?

He trained Kevin Rogers I believe. Who
just happens to be John Carltons head
      copywriter.

      Which basically means...

...he's in a class of his own.

      One of the best.

A stellar reputation? You bet your ass
      he's got that.

      No question about it.

Vin has also trained a handful of other
top copywriters some of who occasionally
      post here on this forum.

      Warmest regards,

Results are more important than reputation. I know a handful of copywriters who've crushed selling penny stock services, but their names don't mean squat here.

You should speak to current/former clients of Vin's instead of soliciting for WF hearsay.

You're missing the point. Just about everybody makes wild result claims in the penny stock niche.

You'll need a hook to get attention and rise anywhere near the top of the niche.

And when Vin's ears ring, people pick up the phone. They desperately want to hear what he has to say.

Plus, I'm told, he's one snappy dresser.

From Vin himself (the proof is in the pudding)...

"So... why am I a superstar? I dunno... I never said I was. But others have. Recently David Garfinkel called me that. And quite frankly I professionally blushed a little. While it's nice to hear, I would never declare it. Would any of you?

I've had my successes. Mostly on clickbank but a couple dozen non-clickbank hits too.

A million dollars in 18 hours...

$450,000 per month for over 2 years on a $50 ebook...

Taking a client from 97th on Clickbank to #1...

Writing the copy that helps create 19, 22-29 year old millionaires...

A team that held the top 3 slots (at the same time) in a particularly popular Clickbank niche.

Those are some of the things that helped build my reputation. And my clientbase is far from being strictly American. I have many clients in the UK... Australia... Germany, Spain... France... Canada.

Now... who have I trained? Mostly a young crop of dynamos. If you know that group then you've heard of names like...

Kevin Rogers - My first student who went on to become John Carlton's head writer and a 7 figure juggernaut in his own right...

David Raybould - A clickbank bigshot from the UK who earns 5 figures per sales letter and has had numerous #1 letters...

Matt O'Connor - My head writer... and one of the top copywriters on Clickbank today... I can't even count the clickbank successes he's had.

Ross Bowring - An immensely talented Brit who now lives in the US. Has many top online sales letters...

Daniel Scott - A young, talented aussie who is one of just a handful of writers in the Forex market that I can rely on to knock it out of the park.

Hans Klein - Newer than the others... but already with two 7 figure launches under his belt."

Copywriters like Doug D'Anna, John Forde, Mike Palmer, Dan Rosenthal, Eric Betuel aren't mentioned often in the Warrior Forum (an internet marketing niche forum) but they can still crush it when it comes to investing copywriting.

For example, in 2007 one of Rosenthal's DM pieces for gold/silver did over 12 million in sales. While that piece wasn't selling penny stocks, 12M in sales from a 6 page DM letter is still pretty impressive.

      I agree.

The other thing is, you need to talk to Vin himself. One of the reasons why Vin has a strong reputation is he's picky about who he takes on as a client. So you're going to have to sell Vin (or any top copywriter for that matter) on the merits of your product.

      Good luck,

      Mike

First of all - I was a student of Vin's (and work with him) so I'll admit there's the potential for bias.

Having said that, IMHO Vin is great. Like any copywriter, not every promotion he works on gets hit out of the park. But the fact his reputation is where it's at should tell you something.

Also, having worked with Vin, I can tell you he's a PITA to work for. The guy is a perfectionist. He's anal about getting things just right. And that's exactly the kind of attitude you want when someone's working on your copy, IMHO.

It's certainly instilled that attitude in me.

Having said that... I don't know how you'd pin down the single "best" copywriter. I mean, who's better - Makepeace or Bencivenga?

A copywriter is not a "magic bullet". They're simply a part of the marketing process, albeit a very important part. You need to work WITH them, not simply have them work for you.

Also, Vin is not cheap - as in tens of thousands of dollars. But if you want the best, you've gotta be willing to pay for 'em

    Ok, 600 X $100 = $60,000/month at the very least.

Yes, Vin Montello has a stellar reputation. He IS one of the top copywriters to work with in the online world. And I say this though the ******* hasn't picked up the phone to call me in over a year.

But that's irrelevant. Vin will be worth every penny you pay him.

That said, I'd like to stick another bug in your ear. A guy making $60k+/month would be an idiot not to hire 2-3 great copywriters and test their pages during launch. This is not an exact science. Hiring the best doesn't mean the best results. You never really know what will work and what won't.
