How Is My Very First Video Squeeze Page ?

Just over a week ago, I created my very first video squeeze page. I would like to know how you like the video. Also if you have an idea to tweak the effectiveness of this squeeze page. Please let me know...

=> How I Made $11,187 Online In Just 7 Days

Thanks

Well, I just signed up... and I promised myself to stop signing up for new lists. That should tell you a lot right there.

Something to think about: what if someone stumbles upon your squeeze page while they're at work and can't watch the video? Those folks aren't going to find a reason to hand over their info. Food for thought.

      Good luck.
Glad to hear that the curiosity factor worked. I intentionally kept the video less than 1 minute long, so that, even those that are busy can watch. But about those that can't even find 1 minute, that's for whom I have the headline, so that even busy-bees and those that hate videos will know what I am offering. Hope it works for both ?

Thanks for your comments. Really appreciate that...

    Hi Doc,

    Nice and simple, it's great.

1 thing I want to draw your attention is that 80% of the visitors don't scroll down the page. So make sure that you opt-in box is above the fold.

Perhaps make the video sightly smaller and have the opt-in box on the right with a strong Call To Action. You can use a nice big visible red arrow point down to the opt-in box.

Make it as easy as possible for visitors to enter their name and email. Everything on the page should draw people's attention to the opt-in box and nothing else.

If the opt-in box is below the fold, the video becomes the center of attention.

You should always test, test and test your squeeze page to be certain of your conversion rate.

Check out Paul's video squeeze page using OptimizePress http://extremecashprofits.com/ and you'll know what I mean.

    All the best,

I agree it is nice but we need to scroll down to enter the name and email address.

Hello David, I actually tested to make sure the video is scroll free, both in windows and mac. But I am opening my windows laptop to check again. About the red arrow. I do have it at the end of the video, I guess you didn't play the video to the end.

      Thanks

Please have a look at Paul's video squeeze http://extremecashprofits.com/ and you'll understand what I mean

Great squeeze page BTW. I am sure you'll do really well if you test different elements.

While i cannot offer you any design suggestions, here is a copy tip.

You might want to change your current headline from...

"FREE E-Book Shows You How I Made
$11,187 Online, In Just 7 Days"

    to ...

FREE E-Book Reveals How I Made
$11,187 Online In Just 7 Days.

And I only worked for a few hours per day!

    The modifications were:
    1. Removal of quotations
    2. Shows you to reveals
    3. A subhead that further hints how easy it is and that one do not have to slog for seven straight days.

Sounds like a great ebook btw.

Thank you for that title word change suggestion. I changed the word "shows you" to "reveals". But I didn't change the quotes, as it looks much better on the page than the title without quotes. Also did not add the sub-headline. Don't want too much text... Anyway let's see how it works...

Disclaimer - I don't have much to do with squeeze pages, and am not an authority.

But I liked this one. I'm a big fan of simple. In fact I wouldn't even worry if authority squeeze pages are different. You might be on new and improved ground.

Of course it might still pay to test.

Also liked the single small page of source code. Quick loading, but with a few odd, redundant things that seem to have been stuck in there by a wysiwyg editor. Eg: <td style="border-style: none; border-width: medium"

If you don't have a border, no point in specifying the width.

    best wishes

    hey spencer

ok heres my thoughts on your squeeze page.

i liked the video it's simple effective and to the point, test the video with the music in the background and without.

    2. incase people can not view your video it's always good to have written copy aswell as a video.

i suggest you purchase optimize press, the software has video pages where you can place the videos in your squeeze page.

add a call to action button, and tell your subscribers what to do, you say it in the video but also have it in the copy. sell your benefits of the ebook in copy aswell, simply put the video turn to copy aswell.

like i said buy optimize press it has everything that you need to convert traffic to subscribers in a video squeeze page.

I really liked it! I liked it so much that I was compelled to enter my email address!

I thought you sounded very confident and loved the flow of your speech. I liked the music and the shots of the ebook and forum feedback. I think I even liked the applause.

The only thing that bugged me was the tiny bit of zebra fabric on the couch behind you. I know that sound nick picky, but little things like that can lower your credibility. I am not suggesting to redo anything, but next time maybe have a more conservative background. You have so much else right! I love your voice and your presentation style!

Before you get mad at me...you should know that I am in Nebraska and I help people hone their career image for a living. I just notice those things.

Thank you so much Nebraska. Thanks for all the nice words about my video. About that zebra fabric, it's not a couch, it's my bed... LOL... Atleast I successfully made it look like a couch. I was making adjustments in my chair position so that the other end of the bed won't show up, and glad to hear that it worked. Thanks for that particular comment, letting me know about the couch.

Great video. The only change I would make is to buy Optimize press and use squeeze format 7 so you can have everything above the fold. It should increase your conversion rates.

I normally like simple squeezepages, but all I got here was yet another person making an income claim with no specific information about what I would receive for my email address. I don't want to join another list in the hope this might be the magic bullet that works, I want to know which sub niche of the IM world you used.

eg. Here's How I Made 5 Figures In 7 Days Selling Pet Food On Facebook gives me the viewer a better idea of what I would receive. Sure the conversions will drop now that the "blind offer" has gone, but the quality of subscriber will go up, as should the conversions in your marketing funnel, making the ad overall more profitable.

In terms of the actual page I would make it autoplay rather than rely on people clicking the button, and change the button to something a bit more exciting.

Hello Andrew, I intentionally avoided the specifics on the title, and it seems to be working. But anyone seeing the video can easily get an idea about where the income was generated from, as I show my affiliate account, which also clearly shows the product which I promoted.

I was even thinking about the autoplay, but not sure how many like it and how many not. Personally I don't like an autoplay because if your speakers are high, the unexpected autoplay may annoy many. Also if the speakers are down, without warning the video starts playing and your message could be easily lost if the person does not turn their speakers on in time.

      Appreciate your comments...

Test your video squeeze page with copy as well versus no copy. I personally won't watch any videos. I can simply scan copy. The key is to test. Whatever wins is your control.

the music is way too loud.

besides that, it's basically the same as 1000's other squeeze page out there...

so if you wanna do like everybody else, well done.

if you wanna to stand out, try something else.

      stay solid and good try!

I gotta say that's a very strong comment and IMO it is very true.
Although, your squeeze vid is good and on the point, it covers all the basics of squeeze videos, I have to agree with valuecreator that if you want to stand out, you need to create something innovative and different.
I am sorry to say that nothing comes to my mind at the moment as to what that would be. But you need to think from a viewer's perspective. He expects to see a regular squeeze page. Ok, the money ammount and the short work timeframe might be appealing and interesting, they might turn curiosity on and you will most probably get a lot of subscribers with this model.
But think about it, if you have something that stands out, something that is trendy, fun and interesting, idk those are just some thoughts that come to my mind, then you'll have a TON of subscribers.

Nice Page! Definitely creates curiosity and makes you want to submit your info. It's short too, I like that. I am tired of the 19 minute video opt in pages. Who has the time? Another thing I liked was the 'Like' and 'Plus 1' buttons right on the screen. How did you do that?

Thank you... I used Easy Video Player for the video, it has options to put the social buttons right inside your video, also allowed me to put a "call to action" image at the end.
