I need some help..what are the good points in writing an effective article?

Hi,

I wanted to ask expert advices especially to professional writers.

What are the points/guidelines to consider to write a good article which has a sense and a humor? I would say that I am a serious writer, so i wanted to change a style in my writing.

      I don't think it's humor you're looking for but a personal touch that makes it easy for readers to relate to you.

      I think the best way to do that is to know the subject well and have strong emotional opinions about them. It can still sound personal even if it's very factual by using a more conversational style of writing.
