Landing Page Magic

Hey guys. Great Forum. I am brand spanking new to the field and enjoying it.

What are some good resources for the writing of successful Landing Pages for affiliate marketers? (I am playing around with ClickBank)? I have gone through the Commission Blueprint program and read Adwords for Idiots and Perry Marshall's book.

I have problems with much of what I see in the Landing Page field:
1. Pretend personal stories.
2. Pretend comparisons of products.
3. "IN YOUR FACE THIS WILL MAKE YOU RICH AND INCREASE YOUR SEXUAL PERFORMANCE... ACT NOW!!!!!!!" ad copy
4. Generally disingenuous to downright manipulative copy.

I've decided to sell products that I think are worth buying (and are selling). I want a truthful, honorable approach to sell them. (I like myself and would like to keep it that way.) I would appreciate recommendations for writing formats, structures and approaches to this project. Also links to what you guys think are excellent examples of great LP's.

Thanks in advance.

  • If the product does what you say, it ain't hype. Trouble is most people gloss over the research and product development in order to get on with selling.

It would depend on product, but you can try an advertorial layout.

For an example of what you're talking about try

    Jewelboxing
